Let the eRoll sell you into this habit lol. Keep optimistic, and if it is not what you like, then keep trying other vaping gear. I know I went through disposibles, then a V2 kit (just got my refund woot!), and now I am using a Lavatube, with the Vaperfextion Cartomator SS tank, with a boge 510 LR (2.0 ohm cartomizer) double punched (saddle valve trick), with Mt. Baker Vapor Double Apple juice at 18mg. Have I hit my vaping bliss, no. But I am most certainly close lol.

I happen to believe that the reason that e-cigs are so successful in allowing smokers to quit tobacco is because they allow the continuation of the smoking ritual that the other nicotine delivery alternatives do not have. Providing nicotine alone is not adequate for the long term smoker who has ingrained behaviors and rituals that are important to the wannabe non-smoker.

The nicotine patch supplies a steady, consistant amount nicotine throughout the day, however it does nothing to help that nicotine craving we all experienced when trying to quit cigarettes. Rubbing the patch does not provide a burst of nicotine to our system that more frequent or harder vaping can provide to overcome a nicotine fit.

Chewing nicotine gum also provides nicotine to the system, but chewing more in an attempt to obtain more nicotine when you need it during a nicotine craving will only result in more side effects. For me it was hiccups, upset stomach, and nausea.

Neither of the above two methods can replicate the sensation of tobacco smoke in our throat or lungs. Vapor with nicotine in it gives a analog-like throat hit and synthesizes the feeling of smoke in our lungs. Exhalation of the vapor also gives a satisfying appearance of smoke to further enhance our enjoyment of vaping over smoking.

I can't think of much about the ritual of smoking that vaping doesn't replace. Well, there is actually lighting the cigarette, flicking the ashes, trying to remove the dropped ashes from your clothes without leaving the grey streak, emptying your ashtrays, wiping your eyes when you get smoke and ashes in them, cursing yourself when you leave a ciggy burn in your clothes or upholstery, spraying on the odor cover on yourself or in the space, coughing up loogies inside and trying to find a good spot to spit them out, and the late night trips to the gas station to buy more cigs. OK, so I guess there is a lot that vaping doesn't replace, but nothing at all that I really miss and find the need to replace.

But as far as the motions of the arms, something in your hands, the throat/lung hits, the vapor visuals, the taste (although the smoke taste can't fully be duplicated, but is replaced with something much better), and all the rituals to which most of us are really addicted, vaping does a most excellent job of providing it. You will likely agree once you try it. And if there's something you still feel is missing, let us know and we'll find a way through it. We all wish you the best.

I'm curious as to what led you to get a refund on the V2. I began with the V2 and found it serviceable; I mean, for what it is, it was pretty good, even though I moved on to Apollos. I still use the V2 though. Just wondering if it was some defect in the equipment or if you thought the vaping was crap. (I'm still a novice, so I have a lot to learn).

Are you still using the Apollo stuff? If/when you find it necessary to move on to bigger gear like Spinners, or even mods, with larger tank systems and custom flavors etc, it'll make more sense. Nothing wrong with the cigalike stuff, I started with Apollo myself, but the bigger stuff is just so much better. Much better battery life, vapor production, flavor, customization, lower prices, etc.

Aside from better and more choices of delivery systems

The battery and then the battery...

who wants to be quitting cigs and waiting for a battery to charge. Do I need the tip to glow? just wastes battery. Then they're over charging for tiny batteries...
selling my v2 kit for half the price was the best move I ever made...

I'm thankful I found v2 and vaping but, they're really just an overpriced stepping stone in the world of vaping...

EddieAdams- Grounded to the ground? YES! Grounded to the ground.

Been Caught Stealing was definitely overplayed. So was Jane Says, but I can't stop listening to the Kettle Whistle Live version of it. It's one of the first tracks on my magic hours playlist.

stupid auto correct. I noticed it when I first posted Too lazy to edit and figured people would know what I meant...

That's a great listen.

The"H" gave us a lot of good music . Think about early chillipeppers.. compared to their later albums.. By no means am I saying it's a good thing to do... but, man it gave us some really good stuff...

Feel like I've heard of them. I like good music. I don't care what genre. If it's good it's good...
I'll listen to NWA then a Marvin Gaye track. Love Hendrix,Beasties,Tribe,... just keeps going..

As I've gotten older I stopped seeking out the good stuff. No time. Thankfully have a friend that turns me on to new music. Not always great but, some good sounds. Last new band I really liked was Broken Social Scene. You forgot it in people is an amazing album . The last Beasties album was awesome too. Finished strong...

Just don't find the time. Even with a friend that guides me I don't always follow up. I really should. Truly good music is priceless...
