I agree with whoever said "just stop buying them." For me, I would smoke during the day at work and then vape at night. The day I decided to stop buying packs, it was easier to stop smoking analogs. I still now smoke on occasion when hanging out with certain people but I rarely see those people so I go days even weeks without analogs.

I'm backsliding myself, and my problem is pretty much the same as yours, lol! However, I did make it 2 full months analog free & am working my way back again. Mornings for me aren't too bad, but bedtime was tough until I bought a $4 atomizer. It's the only time I drip, and I've ordered several sample packs from different vendors, so I replace the evening ritual with a "taste adventure".
I don't see it as backsliding. I see it as that many less analogs smoked in the interim.

18 days tobacco-free.

I have two tips:
The beginning vapers I know who smoked stinkies for years and years break down and have one or two a day. They always complain of the taste, smell, etc, and all have stated that the problem is buying them. Its easy to buy a pack, but very hard to throw them away. If you can resist getting the pack in the first place, its much easier to stay on the wagon.
Also try vaping one flavor when you dont want an analog cigarette, and if the craving for one creeps up on you still, switch out your atomizer or tank for one filled with a completely different juice (example: switching form a fruity flavor to a menthol tobbacco flavor, or chocolate.) That starkly different flavor will seem like a new experience to your craving.
Vape on!

I think you have to tailor your strategies to your own personality and situation ... For example I did much better carrying a pack of cigarettes around with me for the longest time - I did better at not smoking if I knew they were there if I wanted one. For other people obviously the opposite was true.

One thing you might find helpful in making the transition is to make a small behaviour change ... For example I told myself I could have a cigarette if I wanted one but not while I was doing xyz ... I had to stop and sit down to have a cigarette, whereas it was Ok to vape while doing whatever. For you perhaps an equivalent would be getting up and standing to have your cigarette, perhaps in the yard or on the other side of the house, and leaving your coffee behind while you smoke. You get the idea ... Basically just managing the ritual part and the cigarette part separately.

But - whatever works best for you is the right solution for you!
