On my 2nd RM2 the posts are both rotated maybe 15 to 20 degrees toward the outer rim of the atty compared to the alignment of my first RM2, each post respectively. I made it work but the wire going from the coil part to the post hole comes precariouly close to the atty wall. Scares hell outta me. Threading wire from coil part into post hole difficult.

Just wondered if posts can be rotated a bit carefully. Don't want to go beatin' on a brand new RM2.

I had the same thing on mine. "Carefully" is the key. I tried to turn the positive post because the coil was uncomfortably close to the housing but it was turned all it would go. Because of my Neanderthal like attempt, I ended up turning the whole ceramic cup part. I think I hosed it.
