As much science as in that post that I don't understand, it sounds logical. More so the lower pressure theory, but what about electrical properties of the liquid. Everything is electrical, so there could be some sort of polarization with the molecules of the mixture, especially while in the in between state from liquid to semi - gaseous that reacts with the current flowing through the posts in the Atty.
Where are all the damned scientists when you need 'em?

Hmm. Not a scientist, but, would the spiral shape of the coil induce movement? Vapor forms, takes the path of least resistance, and as soon as it exits one end, creates a pressure difference, speeding up the movement? Discuss.

I simply thought that what #1B-fan was thinking: was that the coil starts heating micro-nano-milli-seconds sooner on the + end of the deal. Remember your SS Mesh wicks, kids. The center of "glow" in the coil was always asymmetrical and favored the positive terminal.

This, to me, represents "drag", which indicates "direction" and (in order to have direction you must have) motion in relation to time.

Now you're getting into plasma physics and the effect of electrons flowing through a conductor (magnetic field) polarity. Does the vapor rotate CW or CCW? :glare::)

This is fun. I haven't done sciency things in forever. Does passing through a phase change induce a positive ionic polarity to the vapor? Enough to react to the mag field the coil sets up? I know little of these things, but I like this discussion. I swear I have learned more about electricity and physics from this forum than I ever did in high school! Play on!

Hey, just had a thought. Solve this in 3 minutes. Somebody flip yer battery. I believe that it's generally unsafe practice, but I think (and I DON'T REALLY KNOW, SO AT YOUR OWN RISK) for a quick burst or two, it's no big deal. Somebody with something other than a REO, that is. I don't think the contacts will contact on a backwards battery in a REO.

So looked into some magnetic fields and saw a bunch of pictures showing the magnetic field creating a flow through a coil from + to -. Whether the vapor itself is directly effected or not, a current or air flow should still be created due to the field, carrying the vapor with it......theoretically.
