My rm2 on my Grand keeps popping loose in my pocket. When I go to screw it back in place I have to apply a lot of pressure to get it to catch. My first thought was that threads were stripped, but it threads onto my meter easily. My next thought was that when I did my rebuild kit on my Grand I didn't put the 510 connector in far enough, or maybe too far... I'm just not sure what's going on. All I know is it pops loose way to often. Any suggestions, reonauts?

Old style 510 on green grand, new style 510 on black grand.

Also is your mod a low profile mod or standard profile. Low profile will have a shorter catch cup. Both of mine are LP mods. I don't think Rob has upgraded any standard profile grands with the new 510, but could be wrong. Plus he's the mod master and can do anything to get it fixed and back in running order for a fairly reasonable price.

Standard profile, and it's my only one, so I'm not sending it anywhere. Hmm....

Well, it sounds like you have an issue (stripped 510) that will require a little of Rob's love anyway, so if you're going to send it in for that you might as well get the new 510.

Getting him to mill the catch cup down at the same time would give you access to a wider range of atties to use (larger diameter) if you were so inclined.

Now, if you didn't want to send your existing unit in (provided it still fires), you could always order a brand spanking new LP from Rob that has the new 510. After that, with new reo firmly in hand, you could send your existing one in for the repair or (gasp) sell it (coming clean about the 510 issue, of course).

There's no reo problem without a solution.

I beg to differ. My Reo Grand has presented me with a wide range of problems.

Other vapers are constantly questioning what I'm using. My vape pals are upset that a little box outperforms their $300 tubes. I'm always throwing it on the ground to prove a point, leaving me Reo-less for long periods of time, sometimes up to 6 or 7 seconds. It's customizable, so I'm left wondering which door I want to mix and match with which Reo every day. The repairs are easy and affordable, so I'm unable to just let it gather dust on the shelf like my friends' old mods. I freakin' hate it. #reoproblems

The part of Canada that doesn't get enuf Snow :(
Ive had this same issue several times now and Rob has of course nailed it. In the meantime you can put a couple wraps of teflon tape on the threads to help hold everything in place don't put too much on as then you will lose contact but a little will help then buy another Reo to hold you over while you send it in :)
