Roach Vs. 60 mg Nic. Base

Tonight I see a roach running down the baseboard. I try to squash it with my croc shoe. The little guy is smart. he's in between where I can't get to him... I'm too far away from the kitchen, to get to the pesticide...AH HA!!! I'll use some nic base.. I poured like 10 ml on him...He was swimming in it. Then he laid their motionless. DEAD, I said to myself..Then all of a sudden he took off running. I was amazed how it didn't kill him..Either I got some terrible nic base, or it's like coffee...lol

I thought nic was an insecticide. I killed some fleas with vapor a few weeks ago. They were on my cats belly and while she was sleeping on my lap with her belly up I dpt blowing vapor at them. Most of them died. I am surprised the roach lives.

I think the bugs have to ingest the nic, whether by swallowing or breathing it in. Nic base is probably too thick to enter the air holes in their thoraxes and they probably don't like the taste.

I've always heard the roaches in Florida are huge. Maybe you just didn't pour enough on it.

i think it might have something to do with their exoskeleton protecting them. i know that is why most spider killing fluids won't work on black widows.

Roach spray doesn't kill them a lot of times.

My guess is the roach is dead now, and hopefully not before it brought its gift back to the nest. Boric acid doesn't generally kill them until they start cleaning it off of themselves. But gotta say this was one tough roach!

I prefer to call them Palmetto bugs. I feel much better about it when I see one twice the size of a matchbox car creeping up my wall. They fly, too.

Better lock down the nic juice or you'll find evidence of roach DIY activities, and who knows what flavors roaches prefer!

Should have added a little cinnamon to the juice, it cracks "indestructible" tube all the time. lol Might help soak it in.
