Morning, guys. For those with sidewinder leak issues, specifically from the bottom of the tank, I picked up a bunch of larger o-rings that have fixed the problem for me. I have several to spare, so if anyone needs one, let me know. Lowe's also carries them, they are 9/16" ID and 11/16" OD and they're labeled as #35 if you want to pick some up.

Yes, thanks from me too Andy. Will also make a quick stop at a Lowe's.

I saw that someone mentioned a bit of vaseline on the cap threads (in the HOH thread) as working to stop leaking, so I tried something like that over the weekend with success - but I didn't have any vaseline at hand so tried some lip balm.

I want to try your o-ring tip for a longer term solution however, especially as it addresses the bottom of the tank.

The tape you put on mine seems to have to done the trick for me Andy. Mine hasn't been leaking from the bottom (fingers crossed). Must admit I'm not using it a real lot though because I'm craving it to be kicked.

The problem with the tape is that once you remove the cap, you have to re-tape it. Did you order your update kit from HoH? You will definitely need this:

Make sure to put your forum name in there, though.

On a 4 wrap coil, mine is working great, even without a kick.
