The kick still needs something more to work, Brian. Talking with Mike, he thinks the switch spring has too much resistance which causes the kick to fire intermittently, at least in my sidewinder. I've been vaping mine at 3.7v but it's hitting really well.
agreed...but then, I'm still a big fan of Fallout 1 and 2 (I have ALL the Fallout's).... awesome storylines all....

Ooookay...pulled apart the sidewinder...getting 0.0 ohms across the bottom transfer link. With a fresh battery measuring off the kick port, I'm getting 4.22V.

Looks like some of the update kits have started shipping out. That's great. I'm really enjoying mine. I'll be enjoying it more once I get a good spring in the switch.
