I vape all day at work, and sometimes at home, on my 5v passthroughs using very low nicotine mixes. It's great. When I need to be mobile around the house I use a ZRR/3.0ohm carto combo. Had to vape zero nic for a few days or so after falling ill. I've since cut my nic levels way down lately (had some craving for a little while but got over them). I'm actually not missing the former levels much...if any. My current nicotine stock just grew considerably....LOL

Ok.......now that was scary.... in a benign OMG kinda way. Sitting here watching TV and suddenly there is a plume of smoke....(not vapor cuz once you start melting plastic it isn't vapor anymore LOL) coming from Al's ZRR which was sitting on the table with NOONE touching it.....apparently it had rolled so that the button was pressed........and we had melting going on........took the rubber off the switch......burned my fingers while trying to remove the atty...but successfully accomplished that as well......ummm Mike is there anything else that I forgot to do from your previous advice message?

when I switched to 5V I cut my nic level in half, then lowered it by a third again...

I used to vape 24mg... now I'm 8mg-10mg, and dropping.

I would love to cut my nic level again....... started at 36mg and am down to 12 now......that was even with just the eGos no 5V ..... but everytime I've tried cutting it lower than 12.....I get.... well.... Al would probly say a LOT .....y......I say its only a little.......but He tells me to go get some nicotine.....and after I do.......I'm less .....y.......so..........OMG I'm rambling again LOL

no... just remove the rubber so it doesn't jam against the switch... not that it will happen again once the rubber is gone, but if you ever have ANY mod stick in the on position, remove the BATTERIES, not the atty, cuz the ATTY is HOT... the batteries will be warm... much safer

Switch mod... needs update... so sorry!

BTW, I've NEVER had one fire on it's own and I've spent LOTS of hours with one... the reason for the switch mod was to make it easier to fire... it's a hard touch on the original mod... I may just go back to the first switch I used, they CANNOT misfire by mistake.

OHHHHHH yeah the batteries!! I didn't even THINK of that........(I did used to be a blond) I don't know why it did.......like I said I think the dogs bumped the table and it rolled onto the switch.......which wouldn't ACTUALLY be firing on it's own. And really Mike it's not a big deal.......just needs some tweaking and as long as removing the rubber fixes the immediate problem we'll just wait and get it fixed in January.....or if Al decides after he gets up that he wants it now.....he'll set that up with you. as I said.........Mine works perfectly!!! :)

I think it sounds very interesting and can't be any worse off than any of the other Chinese made PV's many of us have. With replaceable generic batteries it is even more appealing! Of course it would be hard to beat the price of the flashlight mods Jr and I have build for under $20 excluding labor. That's where doing your own work saves cash but everything costs something. Money is only one measure of cost.

I've been looking at it trying to figure out why it looked familiar... then it hit me... it's an indulgence with the 18650 tube, a cone, that only takes 801 atty/cartos... it would make more sense to forgo the cone and get the indulgence!

With the indulgence you get everything but the cone... PLUS 901, 801 and 510 connections AND the ability to run it at 3.7, 6, and as a pass-thru... The MeGo better be pretty cheap to fight that!

BTW, have you tried 801 attys yet? Quirky for sure... I like them, but they are way different than good ol 510s

We haven't tried the 801's and other than just trying them I think Karen is happy with the 510's, as I am, and don't want a bunch og odd parts all over or carried with us when we travel. An 801 to 510 adapter is an option but I think I would wait till the 155D was available in 510. That said we are very happy with the flashlights using the 18650's and can't see spending the extra bucks for appearance at this time. Can't see where the vapor from the 155D would be any better using 510's on both. I'm just really happy to see production PVs available with generic battery replacements. Who knows, some day I may just get lazy;) For the foreseeable future, if it's a question of watching TV or saving by building mods or restoring and sharpening razors I'll take the saving money.

How's the snow out by you? We're hearing the people west south west of us are getting hammered! Anyone get stuck on the thruway the other day? We just cleared the driveway this morning. Only a few inches of snow but I expect it has several more inches on it since then. Been enjoying our ZRR and flashlights. Yesterday I made two more out of the black HF $3 flashlights. Got three PV's going at the same time with different flavors and different hits. One ZRR for the big hit, the a flashlight for a mild flood and the Riva for a causal draw. :)
