it's great that some of you like these juices, can't beat the price. been vaping them for several days now, still waiting on my FSUSA juice order. they still taste strange to me, and very perfume-y i think. i think perhaps these guys are using very strong and cheap flavorings and then watering them down with alcohol. it's too bad i don't enjoy them as much as others because these would definitely be a money saver for the time being. they do have listed on their site that the regular price is ~$60 for a 5 pack. once the price goes up, i would really recommend that some of you try different vendors because i guarantee you can get something much yummier for that price. just my 2 cents.

It must be. I'm not alone though. Many people aren't picking up on this scent or taste. I was just trying to help pin down the problem for those who are experiencing it. I guess my helping has turned some people off or convinced them that I must be in cahouts or something. I will not comment any further except to state whether or not I'm sensing the same thing others have in the juices you kindly sent to me to help get to the bottom of this "weirdness." I apologize that some of you aren't enjoying their juices as much as I have and will continue to do. Each person has their own tastes and there are many reputable vendors out there. I personally also like The Vapor Room, Breezesmokes, Ms. T's, and Awesome Vapor. FSUSA is really good after steeping for about 3-4 weeks (maybe sooner, but I didn't try them after the first time until almost a month later). Rockstar has just become my number 1 fave.
Again, I will post my honest review of the juices sent once I receive them. I will not post any other responses until then as I fear I have ruffled enough feathers or gave some people the wrong impression.

I do not understand why it isn't there. I really did go to the post office that day before I answered your pm. It will have the post mark on it. I should have gone ahead and paid for tracking but I honestly thought that was a waste since we are in the same state. I assumed it wouldn't take more than a day. Thats what I get for assuming. LOL
I hope you don't stay quiet about loving this vendor. Several people like their juice a lot not just you. The only way to know for sure about something is to be in the same room, passing around the same pv, using the same juice. I have no doubt in my mind that you will be honest. I don't see a reason why you wouldn't be. I just started thinking about it after we talked about regular vanilla flavoring. You don't taste alcohol in that and I do. Plus Imo, the ego tank mutes flavors slightly. At least mine does. But the biggest part is that you have tried a lot of Rockstar Vapor's juices and seem to like almost everything you have tried. You will probably not find anything odd about the ones I sent you.
I really think it is just a matter of different tastes. But please don't feel like you have to tone down your praise of the company. That wouldn't be fair to you. Sorry the package didnt get there. I really don't understand that. I sent it in the smallest bubble envelope they have. Maybe she sensed I was lying when she asked if there were any liquids inside. I hope not. But wouldn't they just send it back to me?
I place an order with Rockstar on 4/16, so needless to say all of this has had some steeping time.
After reading some of the posts about chemical smells, I cracked up open my 5 bottles again this evening. Not a one had any strange order, or chemical scent to them. Nor was there any alcohol either.
The fiance and I did another test drive on the flavors and here's our findings:
Cherry Cola: Was the same as when I got it, sweet, flat, Cherry Cola flavored. The fiance dislikes it, but I actually think its good, which is crazy because I can't stand to drink flat soda of any type. Weirdly enjoyable though.
Mango Peach: Definitely Mango and Peach flavor, but we both felt it could be a little sweeter.
Spearmint: Holy mother... this is spearmint x 2,000! This stuff is stronger than chewing fresh spearmint leaves! Again, we both felt it could use some more sweetner, and I have plans to cut this stuff, because at this point if I vape it again my eyeballs will evaporate.
Carmel Cappuccino: Ah... First let me say, this smelled heavenly in the bottle. And for me it ends there. This coffee flavor, like almost ALL coffee flavors tastes predominantly of Burnt Coffee. I'm not sure how the rest of the world is preparing coffee, but apparently only we have perfected the art of creating Non-Burnt Coffee. Seriously, does anyone even make a sweet coffee with cream that doesn't taste like someone scalded the coffee pot?
Will have to get back to you on the Pomegranate, I had enough of playing musical chairs with vapes tonight.
Overall, my initial impressions of Rockstar still stand... Not a bad eJuice Supplier, but not a Great eJuice supplier. They need a little more refinement in their production of eJuice and need to either up the sweetner or add an option to request it. Most of what we have will either be doctored up with sweetner, or sent onto to the PIF forum. All in all, I think they have a way to go yet before they start charging premium prices.

Mine arrived in the mail yesterday. I hate them all, but I ordered predominantly coffee flavors. I agree with ShoeQueen, every single one of the coffee flavors tastes burnt, nasty burnt. I tossed them all except the only one that wasn't coffee based, French vanilla. I'll probably toss that too. It's not offensive, I actually don't taste much of anything.
You could easily recoup some of your money by posting them on the classies! Just sayin.....

So happy you finally got them. Like I had told you in the pm, I have never sent anything to anyone in the mail that I can remember. Ordered plenty of things, LOL. I learned my lesson though. Next time I will make sure I get a tracking number...and save the receipt!
I've been letting mine steep for a while and they seem to be improving somewhat. I've taken a mild liking to the imported tobacco, it has a decent peanut-buttery aftertaste. The bubble melon originally had a perfumey aftertaste but that has dissipated and now its not too bad.
The five I ordered were: tasty tobacco, tasty tobacco menthol, imported tobacco, bubble melon, and caramel cappuccino. I have not tried the tasty tobacco menthol or caramel cappuccino yet. I'm not crazy about the smell and taste of the tasty tobacco. It reminds me of a generic toffee flavor.
Mine are all 80/20 mixes. I saw where a previous poster mentioned the possibility of them being watered down with alcohol or the like. It seems this could be true, based on the consistency of the fluid and the price of the stuff.
As of right now, I can't see myself re-ordering from these guys, but I'll use up the juice because I hate to waste any. Maybe it will grow on me , but as of writing this; I'm not impressed with anything other than price...

Okay, so first let me apologize for not having a chance to review the juices sent by ckgjt last night. Long crazy story. LOL So, I'm going to vape each of the four flavors right now on my LR Inferno atty with an aluminum drip tip using the 1000maH mega battery and give my review. Also, let me mention that none of the four flavors has an odd, chemical, or alcohol smell (to me, my hubby, and 3 of my friends that don't even vape). I'm not sure of the pg/vg blend or nic, but I think ckgjt said that they were 80pg/20vg and 24mg (which is exactly what the majority of my large Rockstar Juice collection is).
Cotton Candy--Tastes like cotton candy! I'm trying very hard to pickup on some odd flavor, but I can't find it. I taste sugar and every once in awhile (when I'm too fast and take back to back hits LOL) burnt sugar. This is a flavor I don't have in my personal stash, but I will def order it on the next go around.
Grape--Tastes like a grape popsicle, maybe an older grape popsicle (ya know the ones that are in the freezer for a long time and kinda get that slimy coating? Almost like a "stale" popsicle?) It's not offensive at all, and I actually enjoy this flavor. In my egoT atty the flavor is a bit muted, but while dripping it's much stronger. Still no odd, chemical, or alcohol taste or aftertaste.
I'm also letting my hubby sample these, and he's not picking up on a weird taste either. I still have 2 more flavors to review and post, but I need a little bit before I give myself nic poisoning. LOL I will resume this review as well as my final opinion in a little while. I can say that as it stands right now, the ability to pickup on any "extra, offensive ingredient" must be limited to certain individuals and not neccessarily the juice itself.

OK, thats fair. I figured you wouldn't be able to notice the strange taste I seem to detect. Anyone who is interested in taking advantage of this vendor's great prices should order from them and decide for themselves. For me, the 80 PG/20 VG ratio is too thin so I probably won't be ordering from them again when I add in the weird taste. Plus there are other companies that I like their juice better. There is a juice somewhere for everyone. It is finding it that is difficult.
Just vaped the Blueberry and the Waffle.
Blueberry--pleasant taste, resembles blueberry, but not overpowering. Very mellow. Would be great mixed with some other fruit flavors just to change it up. No "weird" taste or aftertaste.
Waffle--not my cup of tea. Don't get me wrong, the waffle tastes exactly like a buttery, syrupy waffle, but I just don't prefer this flavor. Love to eat waffles, but not to vape them. LOL (I'm the same way with several dessert types flavors including Egg Nog and Smores.) Hubby LOVES it! No "weird" chemical or alcohol taste.
Ok, so I'm convinced that the juices themselves are like any other vendor's juice---subject to one's taste. I personally don't find any of the juices to contain some chemical or alcohol additive, but something used in the juice apparently offends some people's taste buds (and nose hairs! LOL) I'm thinking it's probably the flavor additive that they use to flavor the juices. I wonder if they would consider selling a bottle of unflavored nic juice to someone who senses the chemical or alcohol smell and/or taste??? It would def shed some more light on what particular ingredient a few people are finding offensive.
I'm not sure what else to do at this point?? I would have to agree with ckgjt that with such low prices, it's best to try it out for yourself. If you are one of the ones that finds the juice offensive, then just PIF them to help out someone else or recoup some of your money in the classies. If it's one thing I've learned in my almost 2 months of vaping it's that you can read all the reviews of all the juices, but it doesn't mean that you'll like what the next person likes. Unfortunately, most of us will spend lots of money and time to find the "perfect" juice from the "perfect" vendor. It's a great help that we have this forum and the opportunity to share our opinions, experiences, and expertise, but in the end....it's all about what works for YOU!!!

It's pretty darn exciting when you finally find what you're looking for ('specially when you've broke the bank trying to find it. LOL) Of course, I respect that not everyone is going to be as...what did a previous poster call it?....oh yeah, "overly enthusiastic" as I am about their juices, but until you at least give them a try, you don't know whether or not you'll like them too. And that goes for any juice from any vendor. If you have the opportunity, attend a vape meet to sample juices. Become a member of PIF and swap some of your least faves for some stuff you'd like to try. Cruise the classies for great deals on various juices from multiple vendors. Get a couple of friends to start vaping and try out each other's stashes. Their are many opportunities available to find what you're looking for. So what are you waiting you for???? Go, get 'em.

I should be getting my FSUSA juice tomorrow.........and you have no idea how happy that makes me. After a little more than a week vaping nothing but Rockstar......I almost bought a pack of cigarettes on Monday. Let's put it that way. The roof of my mouth is also raw, but that might have to do with the cinnamon in the Apple Cinnamon I vaped. That flavor I liked, though it lacked apple. I will have a full bottle of Tasty Tobacco, 90% full bottle of Green Apple, 50% full Strawberry Banana, and 25% full Watermelon left. All 80/20 in 25mg nic. I keep seeing people mentioning a PIF ( pay it forward? ) thread but haven't seen it yet. I have seen the classifieds. I don't want to sell these, will give them away for price of shipping. I think Curvy mentioned wanting the fruit flavors before. Dunno if anyone wants the Tobacco. Send me a PM if interested.
I talked the girl I work with into buying the 5 bottle deal from Rockstar. I told her about the great prices after I ordered mine. I didn't say a word to her about me hating them or that I thought they tasted like rubbing alcohol. I saw her today and she told me they were HORRIBLE. She then said they tasted to her like they have alcohol in them. I said yeah I thought the same thing but didn't want to influence her opinion before she tried them herself. She said she wasted her money and I feel responsible.
I'll find out what her milligrams and flavors tomorrow and see if anyone wants to buy them or trade her. I think hers are really low nicotine though and several minty type of flavors. (I can't stand mint or I would buy them and try and doctor them up) But she thinks the same as I do about them. If anyone is interested let me know
