Hes not a pack a day smoker but probably like 3 packs a week..
He is terrified of ecigs and wont even take a puff of one, Ive tried to relay all of the positive information ive read about them but hes being super stubborn...
He hates that he smokes and i hate that he smokes because hes keeping them around the house.

Anyone ever dealt with something like this before?
Any good easy to read links that will prove his head wont explode if he tries one?

Yes, my sister.

She talked about quitting constantly. I got this and she won't even try it. And she's the one that first told me about them- someone in her office got one. I usually drive with her to the gym every night. It really doesn't bother me when she smokes, it certainly doesn't make me crave one. Actually the opposite.

Since she said she wanted to quit so badly and certainly complains about the $7 a pack price, I don't get why she's not even a little bit interested.

Oh well.

I switched to e-cigs because a friend of mine who was a pack a day Marlboro red smoker had switched to blu (granted he bought a truckload of batteries) and if this guy can be happy with an e-cig I knew I could be too. I got a blu at first and about a week later upgraded to the ego.
I talked my grandma into trying the blu as she smoked ultralights and she hated it. She couldnt inhale for long enough to get any vapor out of it, but she still got one, has been off ciggs for almost as long as I have, and she's getting almost no nicotine due to the way she hits it. So she tried it, doesn't really like it, but she's still using it and not smoking analogs.

Even when we want change, change does not come easy. Someone suggested buying him his own, inexpensive ecig set up. I think that is a good idea. Maybe he has apprehensions about using one that belongs to you vs having his own. Check out the CASSA site. They have pages of information about vaping. They had reports and studies to reference.

At the risk of sounding like a dork: You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make the drink (vape)

I've dealt with this with person before, what I did was make it really easy for them to try my vapes out since they wouldn't when I tried to convert them. I would leave all my Mods out on the table where I keep them and leave the house. I actually would set them a certain way so i new if they where moved, person would swear up and down they would never vape and smoked a pack a day easy, low and behold the mods would be moved when I would return home. Couple weeks passed bye and then they started vaping. Make it as easy as you can for this person to use your vape stuff, put it where they have to see it out in the open if you can as long as theres no body that can get to it that shouldn't and believe me he will hit up your units when your not looking, hopefully he will like it once he does.

I could be totally wrong, so take it with a grain of salt...

It sounds like you might be pushing too hard for him, and so he's pushing back.
Because people can be real stupid sometimes.

I get the feeling you've given him all the necessary information, and it doesn't matter.
So rather than try to convince him any further that he should at least try it, start making fun of him instead.

How many people wanted us to quit smoking before we actually did?

I suggest that you, as a vaper, are the best example he has of what it's like to give up the stinkies and yet still get to enjoy the act of smoking.

Just be who you are and when and if he ever decides it time for him to change, he will.

Then you can post a thread about "what to do when your roomate vapes all your best juice" or whatever...lol.

GREAT JOB in letting go of the stinkies and sticking with it even though you are living with someone who still smokes.
