I'm proud of you too! I was supposed to quit analogs this past Tuesday, but I caved Wednesday morning since I was frustrated. I'm happy to say that I haven't had one since. I felt so guilty afterward. How do you keep from picking up an analog? I try to think about all the money (and the lungs) that I'll save by staying away. :)

Way to go! Yay! More power to ya!

How do I keep from picking one up? Remembering how nasty those last couple tasted (I had to finish up every analog I had in my possession... if I had it, I hadda smoke it... no matter how nasty they were tasting compared to caramel, red bull and all the other delicious flavors I was vaping! But seriously, I remember how yukky it tasted, and love having taste buds again (I can back it down to 11 alarm chili again, don't need to make it 19 alarm)! I don't wanna kill 'em again and risk it!

For me I just put off that Analog. Figured if I really needed it I would have it later. Also banned smoking in the house everywhere but one spot. Ended up having one in the morning and one at night. Then I skipped the morning one. Then I skipped an entire day. When I went to have the evening one the next day, it tasted terrible. I too, remember that the last one was so unsatisfying I tossed the rest of the pack.

Now, it doesn't mean I don't have the odd craving. I still do but they are fading. I remind myself that it's not the nicotine just the habit calling once and awhile. I don't even crave an Analog or a vape right away in the morning like I used to.

Hahahahah! I completely understand! I didn't realize how much salt I had to add to all of my food (or let me say I didn't remember...I did quit about 6 years ago for 3 and 1/2 years ago. Don't know why I ever picked the nasty things back up.) Plus, I love to sing...use to be a KJ (Karaoke host)...but analogs and singing don't go well together....especially Newport's. I'm happy to be a vaper. My kiddos are happy too. :) I was just reading another post about how vaping can be tedious and "techie", and while it may be easier to pick up an analog, I think I'd rather get the hang of vaping to save my life and the little lives around me that I'm responsible for. :) Good luck to everyone!
