I have a ekowool/ss mesh hybrid (i sleeved the ekowool over the entire length of the ss mesh and it just barely fits into the hole) wrapped 3 times with twisted 28g kanthal a1 for .5 ohms and I'm getting dry hits after a while even fully tilted. The only way I've found to get back to regular hits is to let it fire till the point the coils are red and let the wick re saturate. Any ideas why this is happening? Maybe because i have the ekowool the entire length and it's getting choked at the hole? One thing i noticed is i can't drain the juice from the full hole like i did before this setup as i don't think any air can enter through the wick hole to allow the juice to drain..any ideas?
