Hi guys.
I have experienced massive juice leak from the air flow hole due to vapor entering the tank just like cloudyweather's pic/case.
*refer to assembly instruction for the name of the parts.

From what i understand, reason why vapor was being flushed into the tank when i vape was because the chimney and the top cap was not air tight. So everytime i took a hit or two, vapor would seep into the tank causing more downwards pressure in the tank, forcing the liquids to come out from the air flow hole.

How i solved it was to put the small o-ring right on top of chimney leaving no space at all on the top. This will create a space between the top nut(screw according to the assembly instruction) and the small o-ring, which sits on top of the chimney like a crown.

So, everytime when i refill my tank. I would close the juice flow and air flow.

Top up the juice till 3/4. Arrange the small o-ring right to the top of the chimney and slowly screw on the top cap.

Wipe the top cap. Turn my tank upside down, open the juice flow and air flow to release any pressure. Close the juice and air flow.

Power up the mod, open the air flow and take one or two hits before opening the juice flow. It has been 2 weeks since i made this discovery and so far so good no more massive leaks!

Hope it helps!

So the small o ring is to be placed after the nut being screwed in?

So the small o ring is to be placed after the nut being screwed in?

I have tried both ways.

1) small o-ring placed under the nut/screw. Initially this worked great until the nut sqeeze the o-ring thinner and thinner. I believe thats what caused my tank to leak massively as there was a small gap between the chimney and top cap. Initial setup from the shop was this method. I believed the nut somehow managed to keep everything airtight between the chimey and the topcap until the o-ring was squeezed too much, vapor started to seep into the tank.

Desperate to find a solution to keep my tank going, I did this as a temporary fix until i found my solution (shared in the previos post)
2) double small o-ring on top of the nut.
I took my old small o-ring and a new old small o-ring and stacked them ontop of the nut. After that i never experienced any problems and no vape leaked into the tank.

Sorry, to answer ur Question. Yes.

Sorry, I am confused here, you are using one or two o rings after the nut?

When the leaking problem came due to vapor seeping into the tank, i used to use 2 small orings above the nut until i found out it wasn't necessary. So i used 1 small oring and placed it on the top of the chimney (like a crown) and slowly screw the top cap in. I could be wrong but what i understand is the purpose of the small oring was meant to stop any vapor seeping in between the gap of the chimney and topcap. o_O

Yesterday I returned my Russian 3.0 version 2 to the shop I got it from, and today they gave me a call saying they will replace a new one for me. I am thinking that the tank could have been faulty to begin with, vapor entering the tank, juice leaking uncontrollably.. At the same time I also returned the Russian mech mod. I got them in a set. The sleeve that was covering the copper inner tube decided to start sliding around... I would have thought UCT is a good name in the vaping scene, or maybe what I got was a bad batch of products..

Will have to wait for them to call me again to collect it since the shop don't have any stock to replace for me.. By then I will test it out again and see if it's all good.
