Oh Dan, just do it ;) We lurve vids here (I don't watch anything longer than two or three minutes mind). Dusty and Leaford won't mind and you could use it in your own thread on the suppliers board so it wouldn't pretend to be an impartial review.

I've been wondering about the V8 atomisers actually, do you know if they are compatible with Janty classic batteries by any chance? Is it possible to buy just the atomiser and not the whole kit? I'd like to buy one to try but I don't want the warranty or the extras, just an atomiser to use and abuse.

If the atomisers were made available at an affordable price without the palaver of guarantees and batteries I bet you'd get some interest here and reviews ... reviews are very good for business if you have a good product.

I know what you mean Jarvis, healthy scepticism is a good thing too, especially with a new habit. It's one of those things that has to be tried to be known I suppose and if we don't test it we won't know.

thanks for the demo Dan. have you got a retail price for these yet? do you think it would be feasible to change the battery at all on these or drip the cart.

Ruyan seem to be the only manufacturer that makes liquid which is fully absorbed upon inhale. I once thought that it was only the cigar models. do you know of any reasons why this might be the case?

I still have no information on pricing, I expect that soon though.

As to changing the battery or dripping, I am not sure I can answer that until, this one dies and I can perform surgery on it.

As for why Ruyan's liquid totally is absorbed, I have no truthful answer I can give you. I could not even make an educated guess on that one.

Nice demo video. By "palming" the cig, these could be used almost anywhere, since there's no vapor to give away the practice. Visual proof of inhaled vapor is important to many, however, so they'll feel like nothing is happening -- unless this packs a punch from nicotine, or a throat hit like the Nicotrol Inhaler from Big Pharma. I hope they will be available in various strengths and flavors.

Nice review Dan, you seem like a bit of a sweetie ;)

It's bigger than I expected, that's not a bad thing in my view and maybe that's how Ruyan have packed in all those equivalent smokes.

No vapour on exhale will be more popular with smoking objectors, they might see it more like an inhaler with no second hand 'smoke' dangers.

Some people like the round mouthpiece too although personally I like the tapered ones.

And the most important thing of all in my eyes is that the vapour has been tested by Dr Laugesen and checked for toxins, a unique selling point that no other brand can legitimately claim. Anyone looking for safety above all else will be interested in these. The chances of these really being a safer, healthier alternative to smoking are very, very high.

No fiddling around with maintenance, charging, refilling and all the rest. Childproof and tamperproof design (or potentially so) adds to the safety score.

Taste, satisfaction and price are important too of course. Suck it and see for taste and satisfaction but unfortunately none of the pleasures of choosing from a wide range of flavours. The price will be high to reflect research and development costs, investment in safety and branding. Some people will happily pay what it costs and be grateful that it exists and some will complain that they can't afford it. That's how it is in commerce, you won't be able to please everyone.

Again, great vid, thanks a lot and I hope they do well for you.
