Ruyan Direct 901

Could anyone please share the experinces they have had with the 901 that Ruyan Direct offers.

I have had less than desirable results

Maybe I am douing something wrong or are their products 2nd rate(get what you pay for)?

I had to send back both attys 1 DOA and the other went out in 1 day--- they sent out 1 replacement (so far) and it lasted a day. I've had better luck with their 401.

Not referring to defective products arriving, but, more on performance of the parts that are not defective.

In other words are you all happy with overall performance?

Mine is terribly inconsistent with taste and with vapor. Mainly taste!

The people I've given them to have not complained to me. I know one of them vapes it constantly, but it is the first and only ecig she's ever owned.

I don't use my 901s as much as my EVO and penstyle, but, no, I've never had a problem with consistancy.

As for taste... I don't use carts and my juice tastes about the same as on anything. I have noticed you have to blow the attys out *really* good b/c they come with a lot of primer fluid on.

Do you use the carts that are shaped like 3/4 of a moon? or other cart?

The 3/4 moon carts are the ones designed for the 901's with the high bridge. Not sure which you have, but I have both. Both work very well for me. I use the 3/4 moon carts for the high bridge (the one where the wire mesh sticks our further), and the normal cart on the other.

Like Slea said, you would definitely want to blow them out a bit first. One, cuz the put too much priming fluid in, and two, the priming fluid tastes bad (in my own opinion).

One more thing I have noticed with the 901, and with the 510 too, is when you pull, using the batteries it came with, try to get it so you do not feel it gurgle. You want a clean, smooth draw. Those tend to produce a great amount of vapor, and no liquid in the mouth. Hope this helps!

Beer, I do have the high bridge atty. maybe it is the cart filler that RD has in their blank carts?

It just seems to get a dry(not juicy) hit

i've been having some issues with the carts not having enough filler, and my latest batch of RY4 loosing flavour in just a few days, but the 901 it self and all the extra attys i've ordered have been fine

Your juice losing flavor is a fairly big issue?

I've gotten 3- 901 kits and several batteries and atomizers, and have never had a problem with anything. I love them, great prices and they are imho a very reliable supplier.

I tried to order from them today 6-19-09and they said they are not shipping to my area (what does that mean ?)
Though there web site said they had over 800 units available
I am planning to sell them in my area and wanted to purchase SEVERAL unit's

I didnt buy my kit there, but I have bought 5 attys, 4 batteries. They all work flawlessly. They do get a bit clogged after a week of straight vaping, but drying them out and blowing through them hard seems to help. I have been using them like crazy. One day I had a battery and an atty go out in the same hour one time, but they werent from ruyan, however they all say SLB. I like Ruyandirect, great prices! If your not in a huge rush to get your stuff, they're great
