I don't see the point in cancelling when I am actively hunting for it elsewhere. If I am able to acquire one, I might cancel. I might just leave it, since I've already paid for it. Then I suppose at one point I'll have 2. With how they have been handling this, I highly doubt me cancelling my order will change their business practices. On the other hand, I could cancel and test my luck elsewhere. But what would happen if a miracle occured, and everyone recieved them? I'd be ...... for not having the patience.

I'm with you no need to cancel now.Yes you may find some box mod or vaporshark with the chip because they are not selling.You can't find a ZNA either they are in the same boat that's why I went with the Hana.It's not the end of March really....freak out on April 1st.

I've had my eyes on the big nasty, the hades, and the copper by scottua. All 26650, 2 of em usa made.

do some research in case you do end up going with a 26650 mod. I've heard a few problems here and there especially on the big nasty. Tastyjuice owned one for a month and wasn't pleased

Wait are u saying the VS and box mods are not selling?

If someone actually believes that say a VSDNA30 would work ANY different than a HanaDNA30 you are mistaken. If someone want a particular mod because of a finish, craftsmanship, material used etc.. thats understandable, but your vape will be NO different.

Still can't believe you all haven't cancelled yet.

The thing is, I'm hedging bets. So, it's likely that at some point I will receive it from SS. I would prefer to receive it sooner than later, but it'll come at some point. I could cancel and try to get another mod or try to get a Hana elsewhere, but those other mods I would consider are just as sold out as the Hana and the likelyhood of getting a Hana elsewhere is still pretty low. Unless I want to be even more obsessive than I'm currently being and have all the shops open in my browser at all times and just play the F5 game all day every day.

Yes, the communication has not been great, but there has been some communication. Other people I know have waited months for mods with no word at all. This whole thing may just be part of this subculture and probably the same with a lot of grassroots enthusiast cultures (like guys who collect watches or gearheads). So maybe this is all just par for the course and I'm just not used to it.

So, I either wait for SS or I get the money back in my hand and I wait to try to be first in line somewhere else. Either option sucks but it's just the name of the game.

Someone on Reddit was saying that the online shop and the B&Ms are separate entities with separate inventories. If that's the case, maybe it's not as nefarious as it looks. It may be more of a franchise type of setup.

Everyone has their situation,

Someone will feel the money is no issue, keep the pre-order and keep looking elsewhere in the meantime.
Someone else needs to cancel to get the money back to go elsewhere.
Someone else will feel nothing is worth this type of CS and cancel.

Supply and demand, if everyone cancelled then the message would be made and sent, I understand it wont happen; but at the sametime your complaining into thin air. Think of it from another angle. Some places are getting these Hana's in trickles and gone immediately (from local shops) its not u on an on-line waiting list less $250 (+interest) in your pocket, majority of orders are most like not being cancelled just yet. What is the issue for either party - SS Vape or Hana? Oh they will get over it in time, is the thought process. What it seems like is they rushed this out to market. If it takes them another 1-2 months to iron it out, thats how long they should have never offered the product at the very least. I know I am sure there are plenty of companies that have done the same. No a single soul here know exactly what the issue is. Is it really the DNA board, boat from china sank, Trent is the only one putting each one together... u get the idea, ZERO truth and communications. Stop torchering yourself. Either give this a break for awhile or go after another mod. Come back to this one later. They dont deserve you or your money!

If that Hana statement is real... What crap... Blaming Evolv again is a joke, the boards are everywhere, vaporshark, ZNA, tons of small modders have them, this excuse is just not going to work. Hana is looking worse and worse here.

And I don't care what the situation with the SS vape B&Ms, separate entity my ***. There should not be ONE single Hana sold through the B&Ms when people have paid since early Feb. I can't get over how sleazy it is to do this. Even if it was a franchise thing the owner of the franchise needs to say "look, the future of our business, our reputation, online and off, is going to get smashed so ALL Hana's destined for B&Ms will be rerouted to preorder customers." It shouldn't even be a question. You think best buy would let online preorders languish and send the items to B&Ms? Hell no!

But again, this is sleaze territory, why send 10 Hana's to customers and get nothing (additional) in return when you can sell them in store and get another $2,500 in gross. Now you have basically made 500 on each mod Hana has sent, string out the suckers as long as possible.

Looking through the "Authorized Dealers" list though, it does kind of seem like Hana should have limited the release to one dealer. Then at least we'd have one point of contact, and all new mods would be funneled to that one location. I imagine this all would feel a lot less messy if that were the case.

I hate to be a pessimist, but I'll say what I said on SS's FB page. Let's say Hana can get out 250 mods a week. I think that's a reasonable number -- hell, maybe it's only closer to 150. That number has to be distributed fairly between -- what -- 15? 20? U.S. and international vendors. Someone on the FB page said they "heard" SS Vapes has 1200 open preorders. At that rate, it would take YEARS to satisy all of SS's preorders, unless HANA started shipping all their mods directly to SS. Whatever the number, they are going to HAVE to cancel orders.

The other thing that bugs me is the lack of Hana modz that other vendors have. Unless no one is reporting it on their FB, it seems like it's been a long time since anyone even got a shipment in. Hot Vapes got 40 in last week. It was several days or a week before the previous vendor got any in. I thought each vendor was supposed to get a new shipment every WEEK?!?! What the hell is going on?

I don't know where people are getting that 1200 figure from. Hana said (by proxy) at one point that SS made an order for 570 units. The people are saying that because of the Order#s but those numbers count all of SSVapes online orders, so that is making a huge assumption.

Zen has two shops full of giant machines, multiple skilled machinists and he is putting out probably 100 mods a week.

Yes but all his machining and such is done in house. I'm pretty sure hana is ordering the housings already colored and machined. He's just doing the electronics and then boxing and shipping. So he should be able to stay in pace. I read somewhere that he also had some help in putting the mods together and getting them shipped. We all know that no one is shipping eight now. Evolv could be to blame. But the lack of communication to the customers who have already paid is unacceptable IMHO. I don't mind waiting I'd just like to stay up to date as to what is going on. After all they have $250 of my money and I have hope lol. But alas we will eventually get what we paid for just with horrible customer service. I bet a lot of folks are canceling orders everyday. People just aren't patient enough lol. I have been stalking a lot of DNA mod sights and they are all out of stock

Decent point but even working 6 days a week 150 mods a week would require 25 done a day... I don't think that's possible.

As many mods as he has made by himself I'd say it's doable. I mean at some point it becomes second nature after you have done it so many times. I'm also starting to wonder if he is waiting on the bigger cells for the mini and that's not unreasonable to think. After all the complaints of low Vape time out of the 1500 mah. But in due time we shall see. I would prefer to order straight from hana himself but that's not going to happen. Riptrippers is giving away his red full-size hana on his fan page

Its a 1200mah LiPo not 1500mah. He isn't waiting on the bigger cell, unless you think he will give everyone a free upgrade (which at this point is the least he could do) but thats not happening.

P.S. he also stated they would add additional colors with every shipment that starts going out. Anyone see them? I dont.
