This is my 1st post and I have to admit I'm embarrassed to admit I fell for the trap before doing enough studying. I purchased the safecig and received it today. I ordered the classic 18mg and I gotta tell you this taste just horrible. It leaves a metallic taste and hits my lungs like a ton o bricks. I cough after every hit, even a small one.

I have smoked for nearly 30 yrs and I want this to work. My hats off to Mistress Nomad for her videos. I found this forum and after watching that and reading everything I could I have purchased a Joye eGo kit. Ordered some juice from AVE. And hopefully on the right track now.

Does anyone have any idea why this stuff would taste so bad? I will be sending the safecig back if there is no better solution. Just a pain in the .... :censored:

Thanks to all you wonderful people who have given advice

OK
The Safe Cig was the first model i bought. It is ok if you fill the cartomizers with juice. You have to understand that almost all pre-filled are brutal.

The big reason to send it back is cost. If it was cheaper i don't mind it. I like the taste of it actually (if i fill my own, not the pre-filled). The 4081 model is just not powerful enough to satisfy heavy smokers as their main PV, in my view.

The battery on it is not great. But you are going to find that is the case with ALL mini ecigs.

I bought the EGO within 1 week of me getting that. Here is my review and comparison from back then:

I think it's interesting how different people perceive flavors of different companies.

I'm new to e cigs but I tried safecig second after blu and I absolutely love the flavors.

Their batteries on the other hand are abysmal.

I have absolutely no interest in messing with empty cartridges and filling them with liquids.

I also have some V2 stuff and find their flavors to be horrid beyond belief but their batteries are good so far. I'm going to try safecig's newer max battery and also try using an adapter to put the safecig cartridges on my V2 batteries.
