Hey guys,
Not new to vaping, but looking into sub-ohming for cloud chasing and flavor purposes. I currently use an istick with a Lemo. Currently using 1.3ohm builds at about 18 watts. I wick with Koh Gen Do cotton.

I'd like to try a .5ohm build on the Lemo; however, I want a safe box mod that is small in form (like the istick) and safe to use (similar to the
[h=2]sigelei 100 with all the safety checks). I am willing to sacrifice size of the mod if it means safety is better and price isn't as high. Any ideas? I appreciate it guys.[/h]

The Chinese DNA clones don't have built in battery monitoring like the authentic chips do, so if safety is your primary concern, that should be a consideration.

The absolute safest device out there capable of subohming is the ProVari P3. But it's not a box mod.

I agree with Signmaker. At .5 ohms, most reputable regulated mods will be perfectly safe.

Well I ended up getting the IPV Mini. For $50, I got a nice mod from a company that has good rating on other products. It's their smallest box mod and I like that. It's able to get down to .5 ohms safely and up to 30 watts. I figure it'll be a nice on the go stealth sub-ohm box.

I bought 2 purple EFEST IMR 18650 HIGH DRAIN 35A RECHARGEABLE Li-MN Battery 2500mAh to go in so all in all it cost me $70 for everything.

Could this be the next MVP/istick killer? I dont know!
