So many interesting points. That is why I wanted to post the article. I really appreciate everyone taking the time to share their opinions on this matter. I usually take everything I read with a grain of salt (haha), but this article was posted on Facebook by a well respected DIYer. Thanks for all of the input :vapor:

Just more hype capitalizing on the vaping fad (not to minimize vaping, but to the outside world that's all they see it as). How much traffic has been generated to that site from one paragraph of hyperbole, an unnamed lab geek's opinion and a copy/paste job from wikipedia?

It's written by an e-liquid vendor and aimed at a vaping audience... And yes, I imagine it's bought them some traffic.

sodium chloride (salt) melts at 1473.8 F and boils at 2575.5 F don't believe everything you read. Kanthal A1 melting point is 1500 F

I'll remember not to turn my power up that high ;)

This is a good lesson, for me in particular, to not believe everything I read. Now, imagine how the people who have no investment in vaping feel after reading something like this. Sigh...such a looooong way to go.

Thanks for the smartness. I don't use saline myself, but this is just one more of those articles that can get linked on FB and read by people like me who only know enough to be a little dangerous. At least I have an open enough mind that I can change it. SO many don't.
