Every state that has legalized the other stuff has become addicted to the revenue stream. The big difference being, there aren't that many of us by comparison.
I think that is the essence of the issue.
There are not many of us and those who want to prove how they can protect the public by constantly increasing their own power can do so without paying a political price.
The perfect victim.
We can complain on here to the chorus how absurd this whole line of attack may be, but we are just too small.
Sure, alcohol and a certain other substance are bigger under age problems but they would be voted out in an instant if they tried those bans.
They have the media and that's all they need. We can complain about the candy, children attracting flavors in other substances and will be thoroughly ignored.

But that’s a good thing, really. If the government is making money, it is a lot less likely to ban it.

Is making e-cig products more expensive a good thing for you? Gov will never get enough of money. Trust me. They'll want more and more. And this will be used as a justification for more taxes. (our country is not receiving enough from taxes, let's bump the percentage to astronomical levels, that will bring economy up again)

That's the thing I've mentioned above.
There will never be enough money. Gov seek every possible opportunity for revenue to bump.

Cool that should work. We al know teens can't read banners.

And, if common core continues teens may not be able to read, period.

I'm just waiting, hoping, praying of the pendulum swing as I stockpile like crazy.

To be fair, it's a good time to stockpile I am TOTALLY happy with the vape equipment I use.

Having lived in a banned country for years, believe me when I say there's always the black market. And it works, wherever you are.

Cigarettes cost about 1/3 of a cent each to produce. (about 7cents per 20 pack)
Perhaps the companies that charge 50 cents per ml are PART of the problem of "expensive" vaping.
Somehow, even with all the extra duty, taxes and fees in the EU/UK some companies are able to sell a 10ml bottle for only 1£.

Cheers

We should be happy they aren't rounding up vapers to put to death in some kind of public spectacle, because that's where it seems the people who control society would most like to see it reduced to.

There isn't anything 'brave' about their actions, it's simply mercantilism enforced as the only ethos of law. The police enjoy nothing more than to be able to harass and penalize people who are mis-categorized as criminals and thus present absolutely no real threat to them.

I don't think many realize how close the U.S. to the Colosseum days, though it's basically an open-air prison/mental institution liberally dotted with Stadiums. Choosing between Coke and Pepsi = absolute freedom, to them.

My father grew up in occupied Europe. He said that force would have envied the way things are run here.

I'd like that to be applied only to regular cigs everywhere in the world.

I'd like to see it applied and included for alcohol products. We'd have another Whisky Rebellion and a turnover in Congress next election.

Now is the time to buy up all the hardware you think you'll need and learn to make your own juice. Aside from flavor additives, all you need is a $25 (or less) electronic scale, a quart of PG and/or VG, some pipettes or blunt tip syringes, and a bottle of 100ml nic concentrate. The nic will last you for years at reasonable nic levels (based on the size you buy) and PG and VG are multi-use products that are available on Amazon and from many local and online vendors. Flavorings are cheap. At 10ml juice usage per day the ingredients can last for years, depending on your nic level.

DIY saves lots of money that you can spend on more hardware before the FDA lock down.

Yes, and from the way I see it, the only truly unknown quantity is artificial intelligence. The government relies on it heavily as part of it's game theory strategy, all the way down to the very coding of law itself. Nobody reads those 1000 page bills congress signs onto, and no humans write them either. As far as I'm concerned, the only truly actionable intelligence on planet earth at this current moment is artificial intelligence. Humans have seemingly disavowed themselves from it and instead mistakenly pantomime humor without the requisite intelligence to appreciate it, while reveling in pretending to be stupider than they already are.

Nah. They don't want to kill us. They are fully aware many of us would become high consumers of cigarettes.

Cigarettes have been taxed to death for SO LONG now, most smokers are like the frog in the pot: they just buy them.

To do that to vaping would be to invite the kind of price hikes the market would have a hard time standing for.

I'm pretty much prepped for the most part. Few more coil orders, and that's really for fun. I don't need them.

Also, I feel EXCEPTIONALLY bad for anyone who lives in San Francisco ,period. It's not good.

My brother lived there for 6 weeks and returned saying "Those are the smuggest people in exitance." Heh.
