Hello! I hope this is the right place to post this.

I have a sort of unique question. I have a bunch of cartos that are still good, and full of juice, but I've been sick recently (bad cold). Whenever I pull out my e-cig in public, people want to try it, and I'm usually happy to oblige. I have had my lips on, not just the drip tip, but the actual carto as well (both the thread end and the mouth end - blowing out the center hole when filling/topping off). I don't want to trash these perfectly good cartos, and I want to keep allowing people to try my e-cig. Is there a way to sanitize them without actually cleaning the juice out of the filler? If so, how? I don't even know if this is possible, but any input would be helpful. Thanks in advance! ^_^

A great way to let people try your cig is a drip slip. Share-a-Vape Silicone ecig Cover They are a little pricey but worth it if you like to share. You might also want to modify the silicone condoms that come with any cartos / replacement heads if you wanted a lower priced solution. I am sure you can just soak them in alcohol, rinse and reuse if you wanted.

I'm a bit of a germophobe so I don't let anyone touch my PV let alone have a vape, but that's just me.

I think to clean them you could just wipe the threads / drip tip / mouth piece off with rubbing alcohol.

The rubbing alcohol I have is isopropyl alcohol. Honestly didn't know you could get anything else as I've never really thought about it before :2cool:

Hi Aglet! Yes, there are differences. Rubbing alcohol is a mixture of compounds (whose additives are sometimes non-volatile poisons that do not evaporate) whereas isopropyl alcohol is not. You can get Isopropyl Alcohol in varying percentages mixed with water. Technically you should not ingest either form but as long as it's labeled USP, it should be fine for the purposes of cleaning drip tips and such.

That said however, make sure you let whatever you clean with it dry thoroughly before using again.

Vape On! :)
