Sanity in Illinois? A possible rollback of the smoking ban

Illinois is now considering legislation to allow smoking in casinos and bars that get less than 10% of their revenue from food sales. The bars and businesses would have to get a license to allow smoking, but it doesn't seem that casinos would have to do the same. That doesn't exactly seem fair and I think the 10% is too low, but it's a start.

I read on ECF somewhere today that Kansas is considering something similar. Must be desperate for $$. I guess our health isn't that important after all. LOL

It is pretty interesting that e-cigs are being restricted and tobacco expanded - don't think their related, but still

Anything involving states and tobacco will revolve around revenue first, health second. Always revenue first!
