Well as always as soon as I could I tried the new carto that will solve all my issues. Seems like I do this every other week. As usual this would be followed by returning to my tried and true ce2-x, which have a couple issues but give an outstanding vape when I do my special tweaks.
So to be honest when I bought a couple saphires I expected to be disappointed and be back to my ce2's. The first tank through I was worried. The flavor was muted almost like an egot (scared me). and vapor was significantly less than a ce2. I just kept going hoping they worked in. Somewhere after filling again something must have clicked and wicking started chugging along. The flavor filled in and vapor came up a bit. I was almost going to post a "meh works ok I guess" but it really is getting very nice. The flavor and vapor are quite consistent, without any dry spots or flavor change. The Flavor really comes through now getting closer and closer to a ce2. Vapor is still not up to par with a ce2 but the TH is equal or better. The vapor is very cool in comparison but I find I don't mind it. Construction is rock solid. I treat my clearos like infants, cradling their soft plastic heads in the crook of my arm. The saphires on the other hand I think I could actually put in my pocket. I'm not constantly checking on them or looking closely at the base to make sure I don't have cracking. I may actually be able to give a newbie a saphire on an ego and let them off on their own without being sure they will get fed up and go back to analogs. Ce2's are about the least newbie friendly carto even though they can work great.
No leaking or gurgling, you can leave it on it's side, put in a pocket, consistent performance, good flavor, ok vapor, good TH, longevity is yet to be seen, Decent capacity, works on mini bats, Easy enough to use a brand new user could pick up and vape like a pro.... Gotvapes, thank you for renewing my faith in new products. As far as I'm concerned the saphire is the first in the next generation for vaping. Nothing else I have tried has improved on the first major departure from the norm, the Ce2. The saphire has in multiple areas. Thank you to gotvapes for bringing this to market. Your site has become my goto for hardware. Hope nothing but success to you guys in the future.
