Eh, with the way I end up treating my poor electronic
devices, I could care less if it had an actual scratch on it. It'll get one soon enough unless I cover it up. At which point the color or blemishes are moot. I use my electronics hard, some of it for hours a day. I've scraped the letters off a notebook keyboard in under 9 months. My netbook (on its second hard drive) is less than a year old and it looks like it's been through a war.
It's been years since I worried about looks on most of my day to day electronics. Pretties or paint are not going to survive the kind of use I give them. It's like getting a painted Hobart mixer. Totally pointless.
