Satin silvers are back in clearance

Getting ready to order a silver with blue LED, 3 18490's and an 18650. Cost will be less than just buying a gunmetal. And this one will be wrapped so color and blems are irrelevant. One silver in 18650 mode with 2 batteries for home and the other in 18490 with 4 batteries for on the go.

Heh, from what I've heard, most folks who get a blem can't find it. Maybe all of us who got one (Me, me, me ... tomorrow!!!) should try to figure out why theirs is considered a blem. Prvape is very picky, rather like Rolls Royce, so their blem is another manufacturer's normal.

Our usual postal carrier is getting used to me listening for him now. Maybe if I catch him today I'll warn him and let him know it's coming. He's really cool.

Especially because I have ONE mod at the moment. Sure it has passthrough, but what a pain. My backup is a $5 eGo, no VV. Worse, I have a KFL+ waiting for something that can power it! Trust me, a vv3 and a kayfun do not play nicely with each other.

I will have the trust magnifying glass out examining mine when it gets here. All of these no blem blems has me wondering if they actually are clearing out all of the satin silvers that aren't actually tru blems. Wonder if maybe it is something with the color being slightly off. From what I gather the only things that are ever wrong with blems have to do with the body finish. Not the top caps or internals.

I still don't think the P3 has anything to do with the recent fire sale on the satin silvers. It is the entry level Provari so to speak and is a hot seller for those not wanting to pay extra for a fancy color or upgraded LED. Unless of course they are replacing the base model satin silver with another color.

Well, mine was a blem. As I've mentioned in other posts the window could be clearer. I cleaned it with some IP, and it's okay, but it's definitely not up to the standards of the one I paid full price for.

So I'm betting that, somewhere, something the ProVape Peeps were not happy with exists on each and every one of these puppies.

I have 9 million satin silver blems in my shopping cart right now, for a total of $1.17 billion..

Something tells me they don't really have more than 9 million blems..

I don't think the little trick to figure out how many of each they have works for the satin silver blems, for whatever reason...


Bottom line, though, is that satin silvers will probably always represent the largest portion of every new wave of blems..

They are the base model, after all -- just like gold is the base model for the ZenKotes (they all start out that way)...

Odds are, they'll catch the blem early in the process, and just won't get them coated..

And if they have some blem end-caps, like they did in the tour video? They'll be putting them on satin silvers & selling as blems..


I really don't think ProVape would sell perfectly good satin silvers for $130..

Especially since they're selling a handful of perfectly good bronze Mini's (retired) for $170 right now...


BTW, I was recently toying with getting a full-size satin silver blem.. The idea of paying just $147 for an 18650 ProVari intrigues me..

Alas, I went with the yoda model & spent $215..

Gato has a good point. Check out the end caps. My first blem had a few small scratches on the inside by the spring that were circled with magic marker.
