Saw a comment on youtube about banning... am I missing something?

Okay so I've been trying to keep up with the laws and whatnot to understand what's going on with the bans... but it seems like every day I stumble upon something that happened MONTHS ago that seemed like there was hope!

Comment on youtube said the following:
"The good news is that there was an important court ruling today that effectively said that the FDA couldn't outright ban ecig sales. A federal judge ruled that the FDA can't stop shipments of ecigs, a policy that they just put into place.
It's a positive sign"

So what am I missing here... anything?

That comment you saw was about the Smoking Everywhere VS the FDA case. SE won an injunction to stop the seizure of shipments from China. The bad news is that an appeals court upheld a stay of that injunction pending an appeal filed by the FDA. The appeal is scheduled to be heard in September. Besides this one FDA case, I don't know of any other Federal cases pending....But, like said above,,,there are a few State cases pending through-out the U.S.A....So, for me, I keep checking on Ohio and see if anything is happening....So far, lucky here....But, not New York....I think that is one main reason all of us living in the U.S.A.,,,should be promoting vaping verses smoking more to all our friends, relatives, and co-workers...But, that is just me.....Enjoy....

Here is a snapshot of where the more-informed-than-normal vaper is. 320 post Super Member confused as to what is going on regarding regulation.

I've been doing everything I can to get folks near me informed and armed with information. I see it here too. Confusion.

It's kinda' disheartening.
