the first time I went to my hairstylist, I mentioned that I vaped and was hoping my grey hair would not have that yellow streak pretty soon. 4 sylists in the salon were vapors. I went to a shoe store to look for a case to hold my ecigs, mentioned to the girl why I wanted a cigarette case (hard to find these days) and she said she vaped. someone brought a rescue dog to my house, saw my ego on the table...he vapes.

My only run in with a random vapor was in my car at a stop light...lol. They saw me vaping away and didn't have theirs with them and was like "ohhh gimme some & wish i had my pv"....lol. Apparently they don't bring theirs to work.
I would have a panic attack if I left home without my pv!

I've met several in my area, but I used to work in an ecig retail store and got most of them started with vaping lol
I do see a random vaper now and then though. Had a post a few days ago about a woman in line ahead of me at walmart that saw me take a puff on mine. We started comparing notes and caught the attention of another woman. I spoke at length with her as her son smokes and she was off to send him to the forum for more info.

I was standing outside a shoe store about two weeks ago, and an Asian guy came up to me and asked if he could stand next to me while he vaped. I guess he was new and embarrassed about it. He said he thought he was the only one. Was pretty funny.
The only other vapers I have seen IRL are the two I have converted so far... one with an eGo-T kit and one with a Lavatube, both of which I got into vaping, I was the first of the people I know/have seen.
I didn't see them, but apparently a customer used one (some cigarette looking model) in my workplace, which prompted another customer to think smoking was allowed and lit up a regular cigarette. After that incident the company decided to not allow ecigs inside the building, before that I was vaping in the break room, now I have to go outside and actually inhale other peoples second hand smoke... not too happy about that but even with being around them I haven't had a craving for a cigarette since I started vaping a month and a half ago and I'll respect my company's decision.

That's funny because me, hubby, my brother, & mom have started vaping & there are times when all 4 of us will be vaping at my daughter's high school soccer games...no one has said anything yet...
I've never seen another person vaping, I do know a couple of others who do, but only through conversations with them (normally from me vaping in public).
I've never been hassled for vaping anywhere though, and I tend to just vape anywhere these days lol.

I have seen 1 other person that vapes in my daily travels in the last 1 1/2 years. It's not a very common site

Benn at this for 2+ years and have only seen 3 people vaping with small a e-cig type... Where are all the MODDERS???
Ive had a few customers vaping in their homes with a passthru and once with an ego. Most have no idea and just know about the cheapos popping up at 7 elevens around here. I get questions all the time cuz Windsor is full of smokers lol My dream is to convert each and every one of them
My story is that, after seeing 3 different people vaping outside my office building, I decided it was time to hit up Google and try to find out what they were smoking. Wasn't planning to quit analogs at the time, was just curious. Long story short, I came across ECF, became enthralled, ordered some gear and haven't touched a single cigarette since.

I know what you mean.....I was nervous and cautious at first, but lately I just don't give a shiat and I vape all around downtown TO.....on the GO train (stealthly, though), in the PATH, at work, I just had lunch in the Eaton Centre and vaped all the way in to the Urban Eatery in crowds of people......It still amazes me sometimes how hardly anyone even looks, let alone says anything.
I'm amazed as well how I can vape in places and almost no one seems to notice. Dj'd the other night in a bar and vaped the entire time. A little careful about doing it in places like the TTC because I figure someone will come running out to arrest me .
