They removed some guys Kanger stuff because Kanger makes ecig products and since ecigs concern the FDA they were taking down as many Kanger products as they could. I just don't get it. That's like banning condoms and birth control because you're worried about teen pregnancy. Discussion? Facts? Truth? Opinions?

Yeah, I mean that's just part of their policy. No e-cig stuff. Has nothing to do with pressure from the FDA or anything like that, it's probably more to do with the lack of ID needed to make an eBay purchase. Maybe the matter of safety too, just because (if we're being honest) we don't know if there are long-term repercussions of vapor inhalation.

Either way, I wouldn't bother yourself with it too much. eBay is crap for a lot of things, and I would never recommend buying your vape gear off eBay.

In fact, unless it's like.. Used books, or something that can't possibly be junked up, don't use eBay. That's my recommendation.

I think the likelihood of zero FDA involvement is zero percent.

They have done things like this before, there was an executive action allowing the government so "shut down" any business or sector of business that it does not like.

And I think it is 100% possible that just like PayPal, eBay sets whatever policy they want and blames it on some unprovable entity....like the government. And apparently some people believe this crap, even in absence of any proof.

They don't apply this policy uniformly and I think this is what annoys people the most.

Someone gets their listing pulled and then sees thousands of other people selling the same product with no issues.

I've never understood why people buy vape gear from Ebay anyway - so many obvious fakes out there. You can get most of that stuff from established online vendors at similar prices.

"I am writing you to tell you I have been advised by eBay they are now prohibiting the sale of all advanced personal vaporizer devices and associated hardware as well as all other products that can possibly be used with electronic cigarettes. They have already started removing listings due to pressure from the FDA.

The statement from eBay says:: "Based on a warning and requests from the FDA, eBay decided not to allow e-Cigarettes on the site."

Who wrote this? "...as well as all other products that can possibly be used with electronic cigarettes. " No cotton? No screwdrivers? No drill bits? No menthol crystals? No q-tips? No Kanthal? No rayon? No battery chargers?
and this "...advanced personal vaporizer" - does that mean dumber ones are ok?

OH PLEASE...Ebay can allow or disallow anything they want but surely they can do better than this as an announcement.

Yeah I would never buy any vape gear off of Ebay anyways. It's just not worth paying for overpriced stuff that's probably fake. I searched for Sony VTC batteries on Ebay and just about every single auction on there was for fake Sony's. I feel bad for people that don't do their research and go on there and pay $50 for what they think is real Sony batteries and then start sub-ohming with them. But that's what you get when you don't do the research, I guess.

Really, Really you say???

Go to e-bay type "...." in the search. So, I can buy a .... to smoke ........., but I can't buy a kanger tank on e-bay?
Our local convenience store has more pot paraphernalia then the old head shops I used to visit when I was a kid, and we can't buy vape gear?

OH yea sure people use that to smoke hooka?
