Dani, some people prefer one or the other, or different ratios of the two. Some people prefer Max VG for the vapour clouds (something I could do without to be honest).

However, some people can be allergic in different degrees to either one of them, and when I stopped smoking using e-cigs I suddenly started getting short of breath. After a particularly scary attack that made my lungs feel like they turned to concrete and my throat muscles constricted, I finally found out that I had a problem with PG ...it even gave me eczema on my face and a cough.
I changed to Max VG (most flavourings have PG in them, but it's only a fairly small percentage) and found the problems going away.

Anytime I use something with more PG in it, I start getting short of breath again.
I thought I'd cracked it with the wonderful Virus, Wakonda, Frenilla etc., by adding 20% of one to 80% of a CB in max VG, but if I use that too often, back comes the problem with a vengeance.
It's no different to someone being allergic to cheese for instance

I also get problems with some of the fruit flavours too ...and this is someone who was never allergic to anything in her life save for just one day when the doctor gave me diuretics for a little temporary high blood pressure: terrible breathing problem with that by evening, and I was told it was likely the sulphites in the drug! Needless to say I was given no more.

So, don't worry yourself about it at all - you're obviously doing fine with what you use! :)

Nice to see your days ticking up on that banner! ;)

Thank you for the nice explanation. Which one brings out the most flavor- the PG or the VG?

Thanks for noticing the ticker, I'm almost a month in!

xoxo,
Dani

The PG brings out more than VG on it's own - that's why a good quality brand will add extra flavour to max VG ones. PG is a little thinner so flows better, and unless VG is thinned a little (I think it's distilled water) it can be too thick for tanks.
Thankfully, I haven't had any problem with the VG being too thick, and I use mini nautilus, MOW and mPT2.

The reason mainstream liquids are a mix of both PG & VG is to get the best of both worlds for flavour and vapour, and of course flow.

Yes, feels good doesn't it! :)
I still feel wonder when I look at mine ..unbelievable that this time last year I was still smoking around 36 per day and had no intention of giving up, let alone even thinking about it!

Are the MAXVG offerings that are still available on the website still available? I wouldn't mind grabbing up a bottle of GCD in MAXVG before the change.

Thanks,

Ron

If it shows when you look for that option I would guess it is still available as they are working through the old stuff. ;) So order, order, order!!!
