Ok so I started using the blue foam plug yesterday (love it) but tonight i start smelling and tasting something burning! I've been checking on the foam and though after awhile the taste of the juice is significantly duller there still seems to be juice there.. collected in the middle of the foam.. I havent been topping it off or anything.. did I make a mistake? Because now the atty is really really gross smelling. I did a "dry burn" after blowing it out good. At least I think i did. Thats when you take the cart off and just press the button for a few sec. and let it burn up whatevers in the atty right? Anyhow help! Did I destroy my atomizer?? :( :(

Ok so Im pretty sure I posted this in the wrong place... though I am reffering to a 510... but I cant post in the new members forum anymore... so not sure where this question would go..

Your atty should be fine, I would suggest dripping a few drops of pure VG (glycerin) on it, and vaping it off (don't inhale it).
Sounds like you let the atty get too dry, it needs to vaporize the juice, not the filler, wick, burnt flavorings....etc.

A wet atty is a happy atty, you can always blow it out if it gets a little flodded, but still better tasting that a dry atty.

thank you! So I should still be topping off then I take it.. thought I wouldnt have to do that with foam as opposed to polifill..

If the taste starts to change, top it off, the blue foam tends to wick much better (uses up the juice) than the white filler but still need juice to produce the vapor.
