Was told these might be the Scorpians GV will be adding to the lineup soon......

be careful with what you buy, the v6 was just finished and there is also copies out there, the copies dont work well and are half the price, i can easily add 30 new products up today but the chances are they will suck, some vendors are desperate and have no issue selling things they buy form alibaba withoutht even testing them, we dont do that

admitting in your product page that the product doesnt work well and selling it to customers is bad bussiness, we dont do that, i could of had the ce6/v6 in 1 month ago but then they would of not worked properly.

so buyers beware, if you would like an example of a bad vendor selling products he knows doesnt work well then pm me

I noticed long ago when we were introducing products that where out in the fore front, the frontier so to speak, we where beaten over the head with a stick :)

It seems now that some other vendors are taking this cue BUT, they are not given the hassle and they are forgiven and not ripped to shreds, so we will counter this and in a special program, in the next 2 weeks will make a major announcement. It will be exciting for sure, stay tuned!

IT'S ON!!!

I stay as far away from alibaba as possible... I had exactly one experience with cheap imitations - more than enough. This did make me curious about the real version though - verrrrrry curious!

alababa is OK but they are a minefield...many hopefuls and startups in there (and I use the term 'start-ups' loosely) who are just hoping someone bites their ad and sends them some moola, then they try to ramp-up and fulfill the order. So what you can get is someone completely inexperienced, hungry, trying to get "in the money" in Shenzhen...you have to be careful.

So much effort is put in by myself and Chris especially to navigate through that minefield...we have spent alot of time and money on products with some of these 'hopefuls' to try to pan the gold :)

This is one of the things people don't realize (and that's completely understandable), the expense/effort of doing this, to find a product we feel good about releasing, part of the cost of doing business that of course has to be factored into how we price items.

Actually, I think anyone who takes the time to think about it *does* realize this. Time is money. If you put in the time to do research and present tested and well-considered products, naturally this will be reflected in the costs - to you and to us. It's to be expected, and it's one of the things that, to me, is a sign of a good vendor.

I *never* pay the cheapest price for a new-ish product. Sure, occasionally you get a good bargain, but generally you get what you pay for, or, rather, in this case what you *don't* pay for, meaning that if a vendor sells a product below average price, unless it's on special clearance or something, or "scratch-and-dent", it automatically makes me suspicious about the quality of the product, and the amount of work that went into considering the product as sale-worthy.

I'd rather not buy anything than buy a cheap imitation or a completely unconsidered product - I can't afford to buy crap that will just be thrown out in a few days.

Customers are not all that naive. :)

yeah, ive been burned a few times on going the cheap route. Some vendors have the new stuff before GV so in my impatience ive ordered it. Later i found it that it just looks like GV's stuff but is just a knock off. Learned my lesson, now i just wait to get it from a vendor that I can trust.
