Ok I have been busy working on DSUv5 design, I have been thinking about making it easier to assemble and also added in an air ajustable feature. Also looking into a juice adjustable feature.
The top will have dual 3/8" o-rings to accept a 3/8 OD x 1/8 ID tube, this will increase the amount of juice it can hold by narrowing the air tube from 1/2" to 3/8". This piece would have 3 orings on it. Two inside, and one outside.

The bottom of the DSU I have decided to make into 2 parts, the upper halve would have all connectors positions threaded. By using vented SS screws I can add airflow with out the worry of leakage. Also the outside of the bottom would be threaded 3/4 32TPI and mate with the bottom battery connector piece. This piece would have 3 orings on it. The connectors would be one positive screw with nut (non vented), one ground screw with nut (vented) and one air screw (vented).

The very bottom piece would have the battery connector tooled in. The only thing to add would be a closed center post and silicon insulator from a doner atomizer. The air holes are drilled where the upper bottom piece screws in flush. This will allow the user to vary the air flow from stiff to very airy by slightly screwing or unsrewing the bottom 2 pieces. The inside of this piece would be threaded 3/4 32TPI, and is beveled on the inside top lip to provide resistance to the oring on the upper half so the air ajdust does not move.

Well still brainstorming on this, more to come.

ADDED:
Here is what I am talking about when I say vented SS screw, all screws would be 2-56 in size, the POS post would use a 4-40 nylon insert that you would screw the 2-56 screw into to isolate it:
