I think I lost one of the top pieces to one of my scubagens
If anyone lost a body and still has the top, maybe we can work something out
I can turn you a new one, but it wont be until after Monday.

hey Dan if ya keep half an eye on me you would see I had an adventure trying to save my neighbors from themselves last weekend...never ask a paint and body man to do a mechanics job...he made a day and a half nightmare out of a 20 min job...lol....

ok I got some time to play with the Pyrex last night before we left, and was able to snap a pic and upload it to my snapbook account. Am sitting at the airport and thought I would try and upload it. Hope it comes through.

Well thats MUCH nicer looking than the previous tube with 2 peices fused together... Can't wait to see this assembled!

I was not expecting the pyrex tube to look like this at all. Looks Good, keep us posted on how it works. Have a safe flight.

I just got my SS GGTS and put the second SupergenV3 on it with a 4.1 ohm coil with 2 CR123As and it is knocking my socks off! Man I can't beleive the flavor and vapor... its like a dual coil cart with a 8mm tank. Looks great on the new GGTS too!

I can't believe how many ScubagenV3s I'm seeing being sold at ridiculous prices!
$100 and higher??? Realy??? If anyone should have charged more..it's Dan for all the thought and trouble he put in to this. it just pisses me off to see people taking advantage of other Vapers and profiting from someone else's hard work! I did sell one of mine, but for NOWHERE EVEN CLOSE to what these have been going for. It's a real shame!

Yeah, I saw the latest one for sale in the classified too.
However, I feel he may have taken a loss on the deal.
Without knowing what was included with it, it is hard to say if someone was taken advantage of, or if a profit was made.
I added up all the minimum parts needed to do a ScubaGenV3 build and it was well over a $100.00 (depending on how you do the build), not including the cost of the ScubaGenV3.

Yea I thought about selling mine too, so I could make sure I have funds if the DSU gets a coop, but I want to charge a FAIR price for it. Right now mine is completely built, and has been modified to be significantly smaller so I don't know how that should affect the price, plus I have 3.5 sheets of SS Mesh, an entire roll of NiChrome wire, as well as about 9' worth of Kanthal, and I should be getting some ceramic sleeve in the mail any day now.
I sold a completely built and set Scubagen so all they had to do was fill it and fire it....and I only charged $50 for parts and time to build...which didn't take long at all.
I had 5, and including the extra parts from Dan I don't have $100 in materials...not including the bodies which only totaled that much. I wouldn't charge someone the full cost of a full order of tube, kanthal, mesh....and the other small cost parts...per each unit. Doing so to me IS taking advantage of others. Sure I can see people wanting to raise the cost because it was a limited run. But think of this....
WHAT IF DAN HAD RAISED THE PRICE ON THE ONES THAT GOT IN ON IT....FOR THE SAME REASON? ........

but see that's the point...Dan has done this in the spirit of how its supposed to be done...its not his device (yes he modified the original design and in my opinion made it a good bit more flexible) but Raidy came out with it and was very specific that they were not to be sold for profit...Dan has not done that...as for prices in the classies...well if they have all the parts and some spare material...but yea these were supposed to be kits and for material price only...that's why Raidy got mad about the G Tank till he was told materiel prices and listing...those things were made much differently and came with everything I do believe...
on a side note Raidy said in his all my mods thread that the new atty should be out in January next year...I believe he is making sure all his ducks are in a row so there wont be a huge run of cheap copies a week after they go on sale...

However, that wasn't the point I was trying to make...
We don't know what was included in that sale and it is wrong to say that someone was taken advantage of without knowing what was included in the sale.
The classified section of the ECF is not about making a profit, it is about selling e-cig related items that you no longer want or need for less than what you paid for them.
I would want to believe that most ECF classified sales fall into this category and are sold for less than what was paid for them. However, I know that this is not always the case.

Wanna know my opinion on this? My opinion is that I have no opinion, people are gonna do what they do. To even give it thought is a waste of energy. But I'd say most of us here would do the right thing. Most is good enough.
After this summer I'm kinda looking forward to a warm drink in a cold place for a bit....
I know it wasn't the intent. I just hate discord in my happy place, and this is one of those subjects that makes nothing but crap pie out of threads. And yes, I did call ECF my happy place....
