mrengles put me in touch with a company in FL that can read and use the emachineshop files and are suppose to be cheaper with better quality. I will go over the measuments again before sending them the files for the quote and see if they can beat the cost and time table that emachineshop has. When I get notifaction of said price, I will post the go ahead for the co-op after talking to the moderators here.

Yeah, if that's the DSU, you can definitely put me on the list. I should receive my SGV3 tomorrow if all goes well with the USPS but I would still love to get my hands on your new creation.

One other question. If I decide I dont like using the ss mesh as the wick, can I just use glass fiber instead? And has anyone tried to wrap dual 3ohm coils on their scuba for a total of 1.5ohms?

I have used what ever wick that comes in a CE2 in my shorty Scuba gen. I liked it better than the SS for the taste.
TH and vapor production seemed to be about the same. but it was a lot easier than rolling the SS into a bend.

I haven't seen the video. I will search for it now. I am quite determined to get this thing going but I have already wasted a whole sheet of mesh :(

so far my experience has been that you have to have a slight spiral to the wrap. If I wrap it nice and square it is very stiff. However if I put a little bit of a spiral into it while wrapping by rolling one end just a little faster than the other is becomes very flexible. Also twisting the ends in a slightly opposite direction while bending seems to help also. My current wick has two 90deg bends with bad kinks but is still works although I can tell it's not getting quite enough juice and I can't chain vape.

Do you know if the wick in the CE2 is fiberglass or poly? I want to get my hands on the wick that come with the Bulli A2-T but cant seem to find any stateside.

If you cut the mesh at a 45 degree angle, when you roll it up it will flex VERY easily. It wastes a little mesh but works like a charm. You can get pretty tight curves without any kinking.

For those looking for a silica wick MSC Item Detail I stole the link from the "My Mod" thread.

That wick is quite large...3/8id x 1/8 thickness gives us 5/8" o.d. I can't think of anything that would fit into unless it is strong enough to shrink the diameter by pulling....

Unless of course I'm missing something, which happens from time to time :)

You dont use the whole sleeve as a wick...you unwind the strands which are about 3/32" each and 6-7 smaller strands in that...but you can gather up as many strands as you need to make the size you want.

As with any type wick...I would be sure to wash and sterilize it before using.....this stuff we are using is not this purpose...any of it! Also...it is much easier to wash it while still a sleeve...and by the time your done it will just fall apart almost...very easy to work with.

Cool, so I WAS missing something :). I never tried that stuff before... Maybe I'll get a bit of it to play with.

Another happy Scubagen user has been born! TY Dan for the concept and Ty to fender and Ed who put the CoOp together. Build wasn't bad, hardest part was the damn neg post. Man trying to get that to take solder is like getting my wife to.....well you know. (cook) LOL.

Going to have to play with the wick some more as now I see you recommend .5inx4 but i thought I read some where else 1.5x4in, but hey thats the most fun of all. And I have never tasted anything like this!!! I thought vanilla was good on a dual coil but this beats it hands down!

Some mod porn for ya.View attachment 54443
