I was thinking a out doing the same exact thing.
Haha great minds think alike right? And the wall thickness is less than 1/16th of an inch, so it should be relatively simple to do. I'm hoping to knock it down to about a 2mL reservoir.
I was thinking a out doing the same exact thing.

(I really like the size of this as is.......very comfortable...)

Hi there everyone! Just posting to let everyone know that the Scubagen V3 is amazing! I won one of Dan's Scubagen V3 mods in the raffle at Vapestock. It is truly a work of art! It is beautiful and gives you hot vapor and plenty of it. It has amazing TH, so much so that I had to cut my nic in half to keep using it. Reducing my Nic is a great thing being I usually use 36mg so I'm happy to be satisfied with 18mg. I will post a more through review with pics once I'm finished breaking it in and have some spare time. It is so cool to have a completely American made, re-buildable atty and tank. Thanks Dan, For your amazing creativity and generosity! It is greatly appreciated as I would never have been able to make one on my own. BIG HUGS for Dan!

I believe (though I am NOT apart of this co-op) have found a place that offers samples of the 400 stainless steel mesh. This might help out the modder who has limited funds. I will post more information as soon as I know more.
Hey these look like the springs scubabat uses for his connectors. They are made of 18-8 Stainless

They are the second one on the list here
McMaster-Carr
The m1.6 pan head screw od mics at 1.54mm - 0.0605" - 1/16th".
The 19x1/2" wire nails od 1.02mm - .042" - 5/128th"
Is this the Spring you are referring to.
McMaster-Carr Part # 9435K24
Does anyone know if this spring has the same spec's as the ones being shipped with the scubagenv3?
Was at ACE earlier and found the nuts and nails but the weren't stainless. Do these have to be ss? I would imagine that ss is preferable here.
Say I dont want to distract form all the useful information flying back and forth but I just would like something cleared up... Does using the SS wick make whatever you are putting it into a 'genisis' or does that specifically mean the configuration like raidy uses in his big cigar where the wick comes straight out the center with the coil wrapped longways?
Oh also Dan did you already try the beveled edges so the upper tube nests into the bottom one and did that make it more solid or anything?
how are the pieces coming? 1, 2 or 3 pieces? I know its 2 pieces (top & bottom), but is the tube attached too top or bottom or is it pressed into the top and bottom, or what?
