I have a stack of delivery confirmation numbers, but did not post them in open forum as other would be able to see your information. I did not PM them because I would have to do 80 PM's and if I made a mistake on the numbers then I would have to repeat the process. If you want one I can PM it to you. But I have them in case someone did not recieve it I could look up where it was.

I am going to put together a compilation of tips and tricks for the build and put a link to it in my sig for easy access. If you have a tip you'd like to contribute, PM it to me and I'll quote you exact on the page.
The tips will be organized by steps in the process, for example getting the connector in, getting the poly over the o-rings, etc. This will hopefully ease some frustration for some and prevent the same question being asked over and over.

Unfortunately for me, all I have had time to do is install the o-rings. But I am thoroughly enjoying watching every one else's progress and excitement! I don't have an ACE close enough for me to just run to for the nuts, and not enough cartos to cut...so I get to watch! I live out in the country where everyone's yard is 3+ acres, and the nearest ACE is 20 miles......in either direction. So I will wait until Sunday, and hope I have time.

I don't know. However, I just bought the ruby flux, because I didn't want to run into complications...
For my first build, I figured I would build it just like Dan.
Doing it this way weeds out all the variables if I were to have any issues.
Once I get my first build done.
And I know I have it right...
Then it is time to deviat from the proven and experiment.
Yes! The Ruby Flux worked for me!

I planned to make one change from the way dan did his build.
I posted this change earlier, about how the negative terminal is mounted.
I did my homework on this change and it worked out good.
However, I still made sure I had the supplies for how he did it.

I got mine all put together and now I have my mesh issue sorted out. I gotta say with the coil so close to the mouthpiece and the amount of vapor it can produce, it is simply brutal with #325 mesh. Taste is great after the kanthal break in, vapor is very good, TH off the charts. I have to make a new roll out of #400 mesh to tame it a little bit though. In case anyone is interested, my setup is #325 mesh using 24mg juice 60pg/40vg (coil wrapped to 1.9 ohm hitting with 4.0v on the provari). The scubagenV3 is high performance defined with the current vaping technology available.
I can only imagine how the DSUv4 must perform with the gravity assisted feed and cooler vapor it must really rock

You wrapped it for 1.9 ohms? Really? I wasn't going to go that low.... Thou art a madman! Perhaps I will follow your lead!
I'm re-wraping mine right now to go to a lower Ohm.
I had 2.5 Ohm for 5 wraps...
so it is about 0.5 ohms per wrap.
I'm trying three wraps now.

No, it isn't the only flux that will work. I picked mine up from Lowes. Can't remember the name right this second, but it was in a white plastic container.
If you have to at first....leave the iron on until the solder will melt on the tubes outer wall....you can always file/grind it off after. SS heats up nicely and maintains heat for a brief period.....but it will also transfer heat easily as well.

Oh no. You are doing something wrong. Whats your top voltage on the provari? I can vape my CE2 genny hybrid at the top of the scale on my Darwin, at 12.7 watts and close to 6 volts I think. Its absolutely intense!

Holy scubagens PK, and mjmetz thought I was a madman...
With 36mg nic and dropping to 1.5ohm @ 4.5 v on a provari...call the hospital now, someone's coming in tonight.
Let's add in that the juice is an 80/20 pg/vg mix made using peppermint oil getting vaped through #325 mesh, that would be like sticking 3 cohibas in your mouth at once and taking a deep breath.
