yeah it sure does.
i'll keep conditioning then

I'm sure you posted somewhere.....

But what voltage are you vaping, what size kanthal?

I vape at 3.7v and 3 wraps gives me 1.4-1.6 ohms using the 32g. Those not used to these...don't let the minimal wraps fool you. Just because it isn't covering a lot of the wick, doesn't mean you will not get good thick clouds of vapor. :)

Just trying to get a feel for what's going on so don't shoot me yet.....

How are you checking resistance? And have you checked the internal sistance of the meter itself? Can't remember what gauge that comes out to be, but have you tried 3 wraps?

Oh yeah...I have my Gtank on my BB right now....but have used it with my GGTS and MKII with the same great results.

Mann, I was doing PERFECT. Got the nail into the carto post, was about to push it into the pen tube and the thing bent! Can I find these nails at ace? Cuz I have a feeling I'm gonna be needing more.

This weekend I'm going to turn a corner of my room into a modding station, definitely needs a nice little flourescent fixture (with a tube guard!), and walls on the side of this table to keep shaving of stuff and/or m1.6 screws from flying onto my bed.

Done for the night! Getting too hot in here and my torch wont light with the AC on :D

Jim,

Check Lowes for Lennox Tinning Flux - other brands would probably work as well. Ace did have the nails down here... couldn't find them at Lowes. I prefer the dimmable desk lamps on my bench... but fluorescent would work fine too… how do you sleep with those pan heads in your bed?... Turn off your AC…

Did I catch up? Good night Jim

They are standard 19ga 1/2" wire nails (Not brads) those have the small head.

I'm having problems on the mesh roll. Getting kinks when trying to make the curve.
Is this from not being tight enough?

Is the starting measurement for the mesh 4" x 1.5"? Read that in several places.

I remember doing some ss mesh rolls for the CE2 (Dan's thread from a few months ago)
The starting width of the mesh on those was like .5" and it rolled tightly easily and
curved over the ceramic cup okay. I think the final width on roll was around 1/16" also.

Thanks in advance for any ideas...

There's a video on the first post of this thread called 'mesh rolling demo' I believe. Did you see it?
