also got my Genisis working good too now,,WooHooo
This is my only problem right now.Just remember to use a little dab of food grade silicon around the pos wire in the top cut out. This will reduce the condensation from flowing back down the pos wire and prevent leaks at the batt connector. And force it to pool and return to the tank.

What is everyone using for a fill plug on the Scubagen? I am using one of the tiny screws that matches the m1.6 nuts. Seems to be working fine, not exactly tight but it doesn't fall out if I invert the tank.
Was wondering about that too......just haven't stopped to ask....
I finally have a weekend off, so my build starts tomorrow!! Found the right o-rings and the tube fits nicely and still gets good compression to seal from leaks. Trying to figure out something a little easier for the neg post.....pos doesn't look too difficult. But still going to look for another way to do it as well.....glad I have a few of these to mess with!

Any ideas on a local source for this food grade silicone?
Thanks,
Local no, I posted the 732 FDA food grade silicon at mcmasters a couple pages back.

I figure you are the most knowledgeable one to ask. Would anything bad happen if I filled the fill hole and put a fill screw in the side like Gummy's version? I'd like to make sure I'm not going to screw up by creating a vacuum inside the tank...
As long as there both sealed it'd be fine.
Ahhh thanks...Just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't like create a negative pressure when you draw, that would suck the juice back out of the wick when you stopped drawing on it.
Had I stopped and thought about it, I'd have realized that even he seals his up with the little carto plug...
I like the idea of a fill plug in the side, because removing joose, should I need to, would be much easier(unless I get a much longer needle), but I don't want it to look bad either... Tough order to fill. I will probably just order a longer needle.

Gummy uses a stainless steel screw, he loves those things...
Yea but I don't like the look of it. IF I go ahead and do it it would be with something like one of these. Very low profile.

I'm still getting a LOT of condensation in my upper chamber when I vape my scubagen, to the point where I have to pop the top off every once in a while and wipe it out. I this happening with everyone elses?
