Well only got one part done tonight and have an idea for a solderless, pinless positive connection. Here is the atty connector that can be screwed on and off.

I am gonna use a 3/16" x 1/8" x 1/2" nylon spacer to keep the 1/8" pos center post isolated.

Honestly, the amount of detail going into this one...it's amazing. I am VERY excited to see what is in store for the DSU.

Here is my idea for the positive post, it would have an oring on it to isolate it from the main body, the top post would be threaded 2-56 so you can just screw in the top screw. the bottom post would have the 3/16 x 1/8 x 1/2 nylon spacer on it. This will transmit power from the PV to the pos screw on top. NO SOLDERING in the buit at all, just a few screws to put in.

Looking good Dan, I like the idea of a no solder Genisis. I'm not sold on a bottom feeder being cooler vape but love your ideas.

Ok got the nylon insert in and it is looking good! Cant wait to try this out, just need a 2-56 x .526 SS standoff post and turn the last piece and she is ready to go!

Ok everyone.....I give up on finding the nuts locally and I don't have any cartos left. So if anyone has had to purchase a full pack of nuts, I would be willing to pay for your extras.....and some extra tubing as well. I need enough nuts to finish three more, and enough tube for two more.

If no one has any, no big deal....I'll order the the whole thing. Just thought I would check with everyone here first.

Made it to ACE yesterday, I picked up 70 m1.6 nuts, still need to cut the poly tubing, will PM you when I get it all boxed up and ready to mail.

Hi everybody - needs some help with the negative post. I have looked at all my catos and none of them have the same type of center post as in Dan's instructions. All my center posts are too large to fit the "neg hole". I could probably grind down the ones I have, but I was hoping that someone who had this same problem with their carto center post has a better solution.

I just used a single post. Ground the bottom til it was a tight fit in the hole.cut the tube to length.
