I've pushed this idea to Vocalek too, but I thought I'd post it here. Has anyone gotten the research reports reguarding FDA testing on e-cigarette safety, etc? And if not, could we use the freedom of information act to request all information they have regarding e-cigarettes? If we can get it, perhaps we can use it in defense of e-cigarettes or have it discredited. If we can't get it, maybe there will be another case we can push to the media regarding flagrant disregard by the FDA of due process.

It's ok. The problem is the forum's autoformatting of links doesn't give a clue when you are linking to a specific page of a thread that that's what you are doing. The only way a reader would know for sure is to click the link and see where they get to. :)

I believe our CASAA site gurus are going to be working on that over the next few weeks to see if they can't get the links to show where they are going.

I know that I sounded naive - - but the usual conflicts of interest seem to be a bit more subtle, like ignoring facts or putting their own spin on things.. This is such an openly flagrant disregard...it's incredible what we let people get by with.

you didn't really sound naive...my sarcasm was directed at how huge and blatant the COIs are. I'm continually surprised by how acceptable it seems to be.

Hey, guys . . . I'm having trouble logging onto Pacer to check dockets. Not sure what the scoop is . . . I can log in for purposes of checking my account balance (which is zero, by the way), but the separate log in to check court cases comes back as "null." I've cleared cookies and tried different browsers, but nothing seems to be working.

Any way, I'll keep checking. Just didn't want anyone (JERRY) to think I had forgotten. :)

This must be it. For all the times we've taken Julie's computer for granted and left it feeling unappreciated...

Thank You Julie's Computer! :)

I come bearing gifts this evening . . .

Smoke Anywhere (not to be confused with Smoking Everywhere) has filed a motion to intervene in the NJOY v. FDA case currently pending before Judge Leon.

I've attached the motion, the complaint, and the Rule 7.1 certificate. I didn't bother to attach the motions pro hac vice (attorneys not admitted to practice in this particular court asking for permission to do so for this particular case).

This isn't an automatic in . . . Judge Leon will need to rule on the motion.

Game on. :)

My computer thanks each and every one of you.
