I have been told by people that I was with that they did not want me to vape in Places that it was allowed... This was back in the day before vaping was mainstream and it shocked most people. I was considerate and discrete. As vaping grew more and more popular I still keep in on the down low or don't do it at all in places that the policy's are not set, but more then likely will be banned. There is nothing more upsetting then seeing someone chucking clouds in a hospital, school or family restaurant. It only takes one jackball to ruin it for everyone. There is a time and place, Lets vape respectfully.
so I guess that people who wear obnoxious perfumes etc are allowed to do as they wish even tho what they leave "in the wind" can induce sever reactions is okay... but when someone who vapes and leaves a cloud of even a mere wisp of a misty bit of evidence should resist and stop there actions immedieately... yes I can turn off my mod at any time needed, but cant the wearers of the so called wonderful aromatic essence of their favorite liquid applications turn that off???? I think not... I have been totally leveled by some of the most foul smelling "perfumes" and had to suffer thru ( as it seemed ) an infinity of horror.... why do they have the right to expose me to their belief that what they are wearing actually is pleasant?? its a give and take situation... you want me to smell your horrid fragerance of lilac and whale fat? than you should be just as ready to take a wiff of my cocoa and honey vape....

yeah I used to work at this place where this one Woman used to add perfume to her bath water (no kidding) To top it all off this was no mild perfume essence either....... You could smell that lady coming for a Country mile.

the first experience I had with perfume OD was on a city bus... the woman sat down in the seat in front of me... no issue.. then the air flow changed... Yack..what is that? then the sinuses closed up. 3 blocks later a serious head ache ensued... 5 blocks later she left the bus, the sinuses relaxed but the headache hung on for another 5 hours... this is when I realized perfumes were the cause of my headaches. the other time it was re-inforced was when an overzelious perfume salesgirl sprayed my wife with some off the wall juice... immediate migraine .... was totaled for the day... so it makes one think... why can I vape and have no issues but if I catch a wiff of a perfume with what ever combination of thousands of different "approved" scents I go into a migraine meltdown??? If you have ever had a migraine headache... you know what Im talking about.... consider a migraine headache to something that just smells funny.... kinda like having a broken leg compared to a sliver in the finger

I hear ya brother --- migraines are not much fun -- Most folks I have talked to cannot smell anything from vaping. The few that have told me that they can, barely smell just a mild scent and out of those few, most of them say it is a pleasant smell.

I have to vape at a designated smoking area when working. Seems counterproductive that I'm vaping to quit smoking and they want us to vape where all the smokers are. And this is outdoors. Indoors I don't vape unless at home. In public I'm considerate and don't vape although a lot of places now outright ban it altogether.

yeah that's because mentally they lump vaping and smoking into the same category  --- That's like putting gasoline and drinking water in the same category ---- By golly, they are both liquids so they must be the same.

I don't think that you understand the context Andria. I agree, there are many things far more disturbing. However when one is blatantly disturbing others they are setting a bad rap for all the other vapers out there. Especially when we have more to loose the the majority. Just saying.

The only ones likely to be "blatantly disturbed" are those who are "blatantly disturbed" about everything and anything; it's their life's goal to object to as many things as they can possibly object to, just so they can feel some little bit of control over others in their puny little lives and egos. I refuse to let those "brittle people" dictate my every thought and action. No, I certainly do not "blow it in people's faces" (the cry of all those brittle people who seem to find something wrong with vapor), but I'm certainly not causing them any harm, if they happen to catch a whiff of it; if they insist on FEELING harmed, that's their problem, not mine.

The science is in: there is nothing harmful in e-cig vapor. 'Nuff said already.

but its okay for "them" to .... burp in ones close proximity "because its a natural thing that happens".... there are more toxic chemicals in a ".... burp" than in vapor from a device that uses Ejuice....
What world do you live in where it's ok to let one go in close proximity to strangers?

These threads are quite enlightening and explain some of the apprehension people have with some of you who think chucking clouds in places where you can't smoke is some sort of natural right.

    Very enlightening indeed.

second hand vapor once again has been put to rest.
New study proves there is no second-hand vaping: e-cigarette aerosol contains less volatile compounds than normal exhaled breath
i believe this is the third or forth good study dispensing this myth.
    regards
    mike
And the same study found that e-Cigarettes led to strong absorptions of propylene glycol and glycerin in the users of these systems
A rapid method for the chromatographic analysis of volatile organic compounds in exhaled breath of tobacco cigarette and electronic cigarette smokers
So, about all the juice remains in lungs...

I've never chucked a cloud in my life, and frankly it sounds disgusting. Never blown a cloud either. I don't labor under the delusion that enormous clouds = great vape. My vapor dissipates in SECONDS. But even if it didn't... nothing harmful in so-called "second-hand vapor."
