Just an update from me. One of my batteries is doing fine, lasting at least five hours (I lost track of time and can't be accurate). The other battery seems to be faulty, when charging after about forty five minutes the light on the charger starts to flicker between red and green. After the light has been steady green for a couple of hours the battery still only lasts about an hour and a half. I'll get in touch with Sedansa about having it replaced.
When working properly the Diva is a really nice smoke (or vape!). It doesn't require a hard or long draw to get good vapour.

Hi Kate

Well both of my batteries are completely dead after 3 days of hell.
had to keep dropping a few drops of liquid because i kept getting the burning taste which is absolutely vile . we've been in touch with sedansa
who have requested we send the unit back first and they will replace it, i must admit i thought they would have sent a replacement and collected the crap one at the same time as they have my order number and address so i'm not trying to rip them off. Obviously they dont trust me, anyway i've just ordered 2 classic kiss box 1 for me and 1 for my partner, hope i have better luck this time round . So if we dont get any joy with sedansa i shall return it under 30 day money back guarantee , i have e;mailed sedansa again but had no reply for 2 days. by the way the janty classic (not kissbox) i'm pretty sure is the same model in disguise, we have the black and they look identical, so i think its a ruyan with another name slapped on it which i could do myself if i invested a few grand and pay the 1 time charge for artwork get a web site and market it because that is whats going on here, because i am thinking about doing this myself but i want the best product first, hence trying them all out
we've tried the generics and they are very good for what they are , you probably have tried those too. We feel there is no comparison in the smoke and i do like having guarantee's so parts will be replaced and not keep having to buy atomisers, batteries all the time. As it's still in the early stages of these products there is far too much can still go wrong ,technology is moving all the time. Generics are all very good but most suppliers give and only can give a 30 day warranty, which is all well and good and makes it more of a disposal item, i dont need to end up with hundreds of battery charges, why buy 1 part when you might as well buy the lot in a box, cause your only going to order another in a few weeks. so all this big money saving, people keep going on about by not smoking real cigarettes i think can become too expensive by not buying a branded name and not giving guarantees.

Hi Diane. Yeah, Sedansa have told me to send back my faulty battery too, then they'll send me another. It's par for the course with these things unfortunately. I do like the way my Diva smokes with the good battery so am hoping the service is good and I won't have to send the whole lot back for the thirty day guarantee.
It's handy to have a couple of backups for situations like these, I have a couple of generic penstyles from Smokester to tide me over and they do the job just fine.
Good luck with Janty, lots of people like their cigs and they seem to provide good service.

My Partner has had regular conversations with the smokester who is excellent and the only supplier who tells the truth and isn't in this to be a millionaire (but i suppose he'd like to be) He is passionate about e cig,we are waiting for him to get his supplies in to place an order for his e liquid and pen style e cigs

Wait, what? They asked you to send your back FIRST? I'm going to have to check my e-mail, but I understood him to say she was sending mine out right away.

Yeah, I just checked, adn I was told the replacements would be sent out first:

"Hi Daniel, we are glad you enjoy the Diva. Today will be sent your new pieces. May I just ask you to send us back the broken ones?
Thanks and best regards,

Guillaume (SA Sedan). "

Maybe if you contact them again and complain you can get it sent out first.

when people sell a product with a guarantee that bears no relationship to the actual life expectancy of the product.. one thing happens.. they have to start making it hard for people to take up the guarantee..

working as new product life = one month.. guarantee = five years.. the seller has problems.. being in china helps with these problems but so does any other hurdle they can place in the way of the buyer and his taking up the dodgy guarantee..

after a short while the seller will shut down and cease to trade.. he will open up under a new name and sell the product as a disposable item as it should have been sold in the first place..

This is what I received in reply to my email Leaford -

"Hi Kate,
First of all, we d like to thank you for your purchase. We know you will enjoy it.
To replace the battery, please send it back to us. As soon as we get it, we ll be able to repair or to replace the piece. Do not forget to join a letter with your name and the order number.
Best regards,
Guillaume (SA Sedan)."

They may have changed their policy since you contacted them, how long ago was that?

Diane, I just got a little confused, which is actually my usual state of existence. :p

Were you saying that the Janty Classic is the same model as the Ruyan V8, or the same as the Sedansa Diva? Or none of the above. ;)

FYI: When a battery failed on my 2-for-$36 Health mini cig, they asked for a photo of the failed part. I thought that was funny, but I e-mailed them a picture of the battery. They offered to either replace it, or refund me $18 for a failed unit. I took the $18. The other Health e-cig lives on (but I wouldn't exactly call it a vaper!).

These things often look alike because Ruyan owns nearly all the patents. You want to make an e-cig? Fine, use Ruyan design and patents, pay a license fee and then cheapen the process so much that the units don't last one month. As for guarantees, the bet is that while a lot of parts will get replaced, a whole group of buyers just won't bother. They'll give up e-smoking and bad-mouth the practice. The company wins. And, yes indeed, a company can disappear and reappear in a heartbeat.

Because they're all lying liars, scam artists who are just rip offs, blah, blah, blah.

I tried that photo trick with Dealsxtreme, and they still wanted me to send back the bad one first.
