Maybe it's a UK thing but in general using a vaporiser is considered a bit odd to the majority of non smokers (and quite a lot of smokers).

In my part of the UK it's egos abound ! (steady at the back , looking at you Mike , Buzz , Butters and Atty ...... Retired is allowed a smug sigh) .

vaping is pretty big , even have some B&M shops in the area .
If it gets more popular , my bulk buying nic concentrate might turn out to be a considerable business investment .... especially if you look at the muppet show of our government .

I think the problem with non smokers vaping, is they want to vape anywhere. This leads to no vaping signs, which doesn't make a difference to me, since I wouldn't vape there anyway. However, someone calls their local representative tells them about someone vaping in a movie theater, then said legislator/city council member proposes anti-vaping legislation. It goes from no vaping signs, to local ordinances, to state restrictions on sales and eventually to strict regulations on the national level.

Non smokers who vape simply don't have the discipline former smokers have. Former smokers know they couldn't smoke everywhere, so generally won't vape in inappropriate areas.

I wouldn't say it's non smokers who want to vape anywhere.
Look at ECF-- it's loaded with former smokers who feel they should be able to vape anywhere since "it's not smoking!"
