Welcome. The mod is regulated to keep the set wattage no matter what the battery level is. Are you using Temp Control?

Hi and welcome to the board.At a guess, it's both: that's how the mod is-- it decreases its output due to voltage sag-- and it does that because the batteries you're using aren't up to snuff. But that's a guess. A bit more info, please: what watts are you vaping, and what kind of batteries are you using? Are you in TC mode?
It may be a battery issue and/or you may be becoming more sensitive to noticing changes in your vape. Over time, battery usefulness is going to decrease. You may want to buy some more batteries and see if that corrects the problem. I guess it could be the mod, but from the sounds of it, the simplest solution is to try newer batteries to see if that solves your issue, also most folks will recharge when the battery is at 30-40%, to increase battery life and reduce battery drainage. Or so I hear (I don't always do it but when I notice, I'll do it.)

I bought a pair of Samsung INR 30Q 3000mah batteries for my Kaos and they’re acting up worse than the IMRs I have (unsure of the brand) thanks for the info, maybe I’ll jusy buy a different mod.

I believe yo are using the wrong batteries. Yes you can run those batteries at that wattage but you are maxed out so are going to get short life out of them. I would go with some Sony vtc5 a or look at mooch's chart and get 25 amp batteries.
The thing is though, it’s not that the batteries are dying fast, it’s that once it hits 50 or 60% battery life, the strength of the hit is weakened compared to a fully charged battery hit. I will look into those batteries though!
The highest demand on a battery is at full discharge so it only makes sense that underrated batteries would struggle more and more as they discharge.

One problem with performance may be battery sag when under load. Typically, in a regulated mod, the "power" should not fall off as the battery discharges. If the batteries can't keep up, the mod may throttle power down as the power demand cannot be met. You usually will get some sort of warning to the effect of "battery low" even though the battery charge level still shows the batteries as not empty. If you're going to vape at 120W on a consistent basis with a 2 battery mod, at least get a 25A battery. You cane even get a 30A battery, but it only "holds" 1,500 mAh, therefore discharging faster. A middle of the road choice like a 25A would be where I would go. Here's a list of recommended batteries by the battery guru around here Mooch. There are also reputable vendors on the bottom. Avoid eBay or even Amazon. Too many rewrapped counterfeits on the market.
I don't understand what your pictures are trying to show, both look normal to me.
Are you using a stand alone charger to charge your cells?
The koas has unreliable on board charging. (charging cells inside device via usb cord)
The device isn't what one would call efficient & does struggle with power regulation.
Where did you buy the new batteries? ( samsung 30Q's)
You are asking each cell to regularly provide 60w which is right on the edge of what they can do reliably, pushing cells does decrease their useful life.
Add in inefficient power management & regulation = less than stellar quirky performance & battery life.
You can try 25a CDR cells which may help, if you regularly vape 120w +, might be best to find a 3 or 4 cell power device.

Well these are the cells I ended up going with. I’m to the point where I might just buy an entirely different mod. If anyone has any recommendations for a mod that I can use at 120+ watts with relatively reliable usb charging that would work with these batteries (I might cry if I have to buy different batteries for the 4th time now lol) that would be super helpful. I love the Kaos but the pretty lights are definitely not worth the problems I’m having.

Have you considered getting a delivery device that has more efficient replacement heads or use a more efficient build if using an rba of some sort. Something that doesn't need 100w -120w to get what you like in vape quality.
It would be less expensive & easier than buying a new power device, then buying 3 - 8 new cells so you will have sets of
matched / married cells to use.
