Just my , so take it for what it is worth:

Not sure there is anything wrong with your Kaos. Trying to fire 120 watts on any dual 18650 mod, especially with questionable batteries, may not work well or be worth the risk. I don't do a lot of 120 watt vaping, but if I do on a dual 18650 mod, I only use it when the batteries are fully charged. Then I stop when they get even close to 50%. And if it helps, you can shorten the screen time and/or turn off the LED's on the Kaos.

To eliminate any problems, I bought a married a pair of Sony VTC5A 25a batteries. But since battery life was shortened, I got a quad 18650 mod and a set of 4 married 30Q batteries. That will run at 120+ watts much longer then I need and would guess it would last the day if one wants.

Lastly, only get batteries listed and from verified vendors on the chart Eskie posted on page one. No exceptions! Then invest in a decent external charger, preferably a 4 bay in the event you ever decide to go with a quad battery mod.

Yes, all that will cost north of $100, but a good start would be the charger and a pair of the Sony VTC5A for less then $50 which may satisfy your needs for now.

What 4 cell mod do you use? These are the batteries I bought, I bought 4 of them (I think) and a 4 cell external charger for them as well. I just want a mod set up that will allow me to run 120w without any issues

If those are authentic LG HD2, those batteries will work fine. But not knowing anything about that vendor, I can't/won't vouch for or against their authenticity. I only buy from RTD, one of the approved vendors in Mooch's table. I went with a pair of 25a batteries for one of my dual battery mods that should safely take me up to around 150 watts, more then I can imagine going. A set of 4 married 20a batteries are only used in quad battery mod, safely taking me up as high as 200+ watts....overkill for me. But the extra run time with 12,000mah is more important to me.

The mod I got and really like is the Smok GX2/4 that quickly changes out from a dual to a quad battery mod. In dual battery mode, it is the smallest of the 7 I have. I get the power I need with the 25a batteries or good run time with 20a batteries at my normal 50-75 watts. In quad battery mode, it fits my wonky hands better then any others I held and I have no problem using it all day (or 2+ without changing out batteries). I like having 2 mods in 1. But with your Kaos as a dual battery back-up, you may want to check out other quad battery mods for what fits you better and/or appeals to you more.

Yeah I ordered them Friday so I’m just waiting to get them in the mail hopefully some time this week, I’m hoping they work the way I want to and as you said, they should if they’re authentic. If not, then i goofed again lol. Thanks for the info tho! I’ll check out that mod. I definitely like Vaping 120w all day so anything that can keep up with that is good in my book lol.
