I just went to an Apple Market today in central VA and I noticed they're selling some cheapo ecigs along with the analogs. Pretty cool :) it seems they're becoming more mainstream anyway.

The cashier told me that Virginia passed a law that you are allowed to vape where analogs are banned. I know they were going back and forth for a long time, but I haven't researched what's legal and what's not, mostly because I don't really care, I just stealth vape wherever I go.

ONe of my co-workers bought one of those cheapies from a 7-11. It died within a few hours. But it did get him interested in vaping. Unfortunately his ummm.... situation makes it difficult for him to get a kit.
Kinda blows for him. I am thinking about giving him one of my passthroughs, and 2 batteries as long as he gets some atomizers for the 901 he should be set for a little bit. Dunno.

Well, down here in the sw corner of VA, I haven't seen them in any stores yet. I haven't seen a single other person using a pv either. Just me. I'll start paying better attention and see if I see any around. I'm really, really, really impressed with mine. I quit that day. Haven't cheated either and it's been a month today.

My mom (in Richmond) told me she just saw an e-cig at 7Eleven. I'd prefer it if these stores only sold disposable models b/c I fear people getting a poor quality item and then having a negative opinion of vaporizers overall, which I don't think we can afford. However, the increased visibility is a positive thing so I'll take it over obscurity. I'm in the process of creating some (free) business cards to hand out whenever I'm asked about my PV. Hopefully I can steer folks in the right direction (this site, ha!) so they can make informed choices and have a better experience.

I started on a gas station nJoy (RN4081) that was given to me. Certainly not the best but absolutely got me into vaping and completely off analogs (in about a week after 16 or so years of smoking!). I'm sure there are plenty out there with similar experiences. Anything that generates interest and awareness is a good thing.

Oh, and that nJoy is still working like a champ...LOL.

These looked like no-name disposable cheapo ecigs, but it's definitely cool that they were not only on display, but there were signs saying something along the lines of "attention smokers, check out these ecigs blah blah". If I can snap a shot and post it on the ECF, I will soon.

And that's the coolest part, I started with an NJoy too which I didn't stick with, but it turned me onto the world of vaping. So the more publicity ecigs get, I think the more mainstream and accepted they'll become.

Last I heard, the VA Attorney General told the health department loudmouths to sit down and be quiet, and that vaporizers were not covered by any no-smoking laws in VA. I too would be interested to find out if there have been more developments that I've missed.

Awesome to find out more local stores are carrying PV's!

Oh goody. The general pulic is about to be treated to some really crappy e-cigs at over inflated prices.

I started with a really crappy mini, but it peaked my intrest because I could ignore analogs!
Graduated to an 801 and recently to an eGo, but would have never started, or found ECF if
I didn't start somewhere. If you're serious about dumping analogs, it's a matter of time
between some sort of disposable or overpriced mini and an eGo.

We have them here in Tennessee. I've seen them in about 3 different gas stations/truck stops. Usually N-Joys.

Side note... just because they sell them, doesn't mean they know what they are. I pulled into a gas station here to fill up before work, saw they had them on the counter and started vaping while I was in line. ... They looked at me like I had just pulled a kitten out of my pocket, and started strangle'ng it while waiting in line.

The word is getting out there... it's just a shame it's through some rinky-dink little cheapos. I asked the lady at the local truckstop that sells them near me if they were going to start carry'ng the juices for them. She didn't know what I was talking about so I pulled out the eGo and explained about how to refill them and how to drip. She was blown away because she thought you HAD to buy those cartridges for them (cartomizers) and didn't understand what the bid deal was because they'd cost a small fortune if you had to keep buying the cartos.

... and I'm rambling. Anywho, good to see them out there more and more... but, still... wish they were better quality.

So everybody deserves to start out with a piece of crap, then get interested, then buy replacements.

I want a piece of the piece of crap action..

You already started a tirade thread bashing everything. Go back there. We're still waiting for the witty and intelligent rants over there.
