OK, I have struggled on with this for too long now, and the answer has eluded me totally and now is the time to put the whole connundrum to bed.......


Why is there an extraordinary number of cat photos on peoples profile pics?

The reason I need to ask is because I am a dog person, not a cat person and I am wondering how long you need to vape before the urge to buy a Cat becomes unstoppable......

Just a thought, cos when a dog is happy is gives a great big sloppy smile and licks your face.... when a car is happy it digs it claws in and causes pain... May just be me, but I am concerned about the potential for filling my house with cats.....

Now that you mention it... Actually, I had my cat for more than 3 years before I started to vape. I don't know that vaping would make you want a cat. Perhaps cat lovers are more likely to pick up a healthier alternative to smoking earlier than dog lovers....

Throughout my life I have noticed that there are some fundamental personality differences between cat people and dog people.
So my conundrum has always been trying to figure out what to make of those who have both dogs and cats.

I think you'll find the majority of cat avatar's are women. I know in my family of six, five of which are women and they all have cats.

sad.... I used to have a dog named lucifer too. he was great. I've had one year of my adult life without dogs (lost them in a divorce many years ago). Gonna do my best to not be dogless agin. I'd say I'm doing pretty well with that these days hehhe

The reason for the names are based on God Names. Zeus is the father (as Zeus was the father of the Gods) and Lucifer (the younger one, without the stick) is named after the Greek God Lucifer.... before his name was twisted by religion..... Lucifer was the bringer of Light and when I first saw Lucifer with his little tongue and tiny waggly tail... he really did bring light into my life....

But the pair really are wonderful dogs and I miss them badly.... I will have another dog when I move house and work settles down a bit.....

You do realize of course, that cats are in reality aliens; and they are a part of a vast conspiracy to take over world? I thought everybody knew that.

While mine may look like a cat, it's a pic of me after being run through a "charcoal" filter and then reduced to fit allowed space.

I'm not a cat person either and all cats know that and rub or bump and otherwise try to pretend to be friendly whenever I get near.

While my dog friends all seem to bring me things. Like shoes, bowls, swim trunks. A human friend's dog, Noel, will search the area frantically whenever I come over and if she cannot find something to bring me will rip shoes off anyone sitting down just so she can bring me a gift for visiting.

I'm not even sure why this kind of stuff happens or why folks tell me that their Such-n-Such never acts that way with anyone else.

If I put a cat avatar up, please someone shoot me. My mind must be too far gone to do it myself.
