Forgive me Buzz but I want to do this now. With veterans day quickly approaching I want to thank my father and all vets for their service, Sacrifice, and honor.
My father served in Vietnam and he is my hero! I want to thank all active and honorably discharged vets. You perform a service to your countryman that is indispensable. God bless every one of you and come home safely!

I would like to also add a Happy Birthday to all the Marines (USMC Birthday 11/10), especially my husband who is a USMC Sgt. - disabled. I celebrate this yearly by baking him a "birthday cake"

Thank you all who serve when called for duty! My father, who passed away in 2007, was a Naval Pilot on the carrier Tichonderoga in the Pacific arena of WWII. He was the bravest man I ever knew - but then he was my dad.

A special shout-out to Grandpa Ed who served in the 4th Marine Division from 1940-1945 and died last year, 65 years to-the-day after seeing the U.S. flag fly on Mt. Suribachi. I miss you!

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone here who supports our troops.

My sister even facebooked me today!! and thanked me (totally surprised me, not her m.o.) I spent 4 years in the Army and still have people I know in dangerous places around the world.

I know firsthand how hard they work and how much they sacrifice for us. Most of them don't even necessarily agree with the what, where and why, but they do it anyway to protect the USA. God Bless 'em.
