Well I got my mother, a lifelong smoker, to make the jump to vaping. She started with a few 510 batteries and vision nano clearos. She really liked my ego batteries with the kanger t3 setup. Much better than the 510/ nano. The nanos are ok, but she doesn't like the draw on them. So I gave her a ego battery to use. She would like something around the size of a T3, but I know she won't want to fiddle with them to keep them working. Is there a no fuss no muss tank, carto, or whatever that she could use. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Cheers.

Might want to give the Kanger ProTank a try and see if that will work for her. I don't have one, have one on order, but I hear they are really very good and relatively low fuss. I'm sure some folks will also chime in with some other excellent ideas as well. :)

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend the Protank to people who haven't been exposed to a number of other devices. Vapers are loving them, but if you read the posts closely, you will see Protanks can be a bit fussy. It's not a big deal for someone who's been through leaking, gurgling, airy draws, etc., but for someone who hasn't, I can see how they could get frustrated. IMO

I would recommend a nice starter kit like the eRoll or something like that. Do not get her into a second gen (twist plus clearo) or third gen (Provari plus Protank) setup. It ends badly for most users.

I am agreeing with the Ocelot again. The Provarinati may have drugged me or hypnotized me by placing subliminal messages in my Vikings transmissions....

Hmmm, gotcha. Looked the like the protanks weren't all that fusy, though with some of the heavier/thicker fluids folks are recommending to remove one of the wicks. I'll wait until mine comes in and give it a thorough go over before recommending it to someone that wants a zero maintenance device. Thanks Ocelot, hadn't heard them to be overly temperamental, but then again you're right that is coming from folks who have been vaping awhile.

I've been vaping mine since 3/20 and some if the issues I've run into may be specific to me, I don't know. But I've messed around with fussy little critters for some time. I'm a puzzle-solver; that said, not to brag, but I have 6 Stardusts/clones/not sure on a shelf next to me, that all hit brilliantly with tons of vapor. I played with them until I figured it out. I doubt most people are as stubborn as I am.

LOL, well I'm not going to argue with someone that has first-hand experience, that's for sure! Yeah sometimes I need to step back as well because I am also very much a tinkerer and am getting knee-deep into this as a hobby. The next three weeks ought to bring some great vape mail my way, that's for sure. ;)

I imagine you're going to love it - but I would venture to guess at one time or another you've had a mouthful of juice, liquid in the battery connection, dry hits, gunked wicks, etc., those experiences tend not to go over very well with beginners whose are a bit unsure of this whole vaping thing. You know what I mean?

Oh absolutely. I've already been there with some things. Currently playing with O-rings on carto tanks, trying to figure out better ways to keep cartos lasting longer (they hit great for me for about the first two days then not as well as I like) etc. I know totally where you're coming from. ;) Anyway, I'm off to help the wife do some cleaning and I think I may have inadvertently sidetracked the thread, my apologies OP, good luck on finding what you are looking for in a strait forward, no fuss delivery system. Lots of good folks here with some great info!

Sounds like she needs an unassembled telescope mod with an unassembled aga-t, all thrown into a box like car parts. It will be fun- like a puzzle. And don't forget the mesh!

But really, I rock an eGo with a kanger EVOD pretty much all the time because I can fill it and vape until empty without flicking, tipping, dry-puffing or doing a rain dance to get a good vape. 1.8ohm coils and the eGo make a good combo IMHO. Never did see why she didn't like your T3?

I am with The Ocelot. Mind you, I have a Protank and LOVE it. I have had no issues with it thus far *knock wood*. However, it is a heavy little thing and terribly unbalanced on top of an eGo style battery. As far as the T3, what is she not liking about them? They are relatively simple to use and not costly at all. She does not HAVE to rebuild them, or replace the heads if she does not want to. They are inexpensive enough to just toss away after a couple of weeks worth of use...

Frankly, the T3 and eGo style batteries are what I tend to use most of the time. And no, I do not rebuild them. I just toss them out when they go kaput.

Have you considered a ProVameVic? It will fill, clean and rebuild itself. If connected to a UBS port it will also go on-line and order everything it needs. The absolutely perfect vape...as long as you don't show fear.

I was too afraid and mine blew up. Nice while it worked though.
